Scandalous Louvre - Hugo was funny and entertaining and gave a great tour! It was a nice snapshot of the highlights at the Louvre. Would recommend!

Murder, mayhem, and matrimony. And murder. - I can’t say enough positive things about my experience being guided through the Louvre by Adam. My wife purchased this as a birthday gift and what is explained on the surface compared to what is delivered is an absolutely amazing value. If you’re visiting the Louvre for your first or your fiftieth time you will quickly understand the size and the scope of what your day is about to undertake. There is clearly an impossible amount of exhibits to explore and not enough time in an afternoon for someone new to the museum to even grapple with what they need to be seeing. Adam brings to life not only exhibits in the museum with wonderful background and interaction, but the museum walls (and ceilings) themselves. The tour is exciting and interactive! Rather than just be carted to famous works (which happens and is lovely) and lectured on the importance of the pieces, you receive an outstanding history and context of how pieces relate to one another, how art and sculpture have evolved over time, and the human nature of everything explored. There are scandals for certain, but there is also the beautiful exploration of humanity and the reaction to the conditions imparted by the world on the creators of these pieces. This is history paced and masterfully explained with the popcorn value of an HBO or NetFlix masterpiece. If you’re looking for an incredible value of not only a guided experience but fulfillment of your time then this is what you need to book for your trip. I can’t possibly imagine a better way to spend several hours at the Louvre and without hesitation would book another tour from this (Adam) company. Additional benefits from the already fantastic tour include having a earpiece so that even if you get a bit distracted you’re still hearing what is being said. The Louvre is breathtaking as well and incredibly busy and having a direct audio line to the guide was very helpful. Whether you have an entire day to kill or just a couple of hours this is something that should be experienced. The tour is informative, breathtaking, emotional, and will leave you with an exciting understanding of the world, art, and history that you more than likely didn’t have before. Also, it’s fun! It’s really, very fun! I wish Adam and his team the best wishes moving forward and have a dedicated pin in my future travel plans to tour the Louvre with him again.
