We commence by collecting you from your hotel or Airbnb. In 1883, Monet made Giverny his home. He converted a deserted estate into a floral masterpiece that became the muse for his artworks. The regular arrivals of his friends and followers turned Giverny into the crux of his life. Until his passing in 1926, Monet - the artist, father, gardener, and individual - never departed from Giverny.
On this tour, we will also visit Giverny’s medieval church from the 11th century, where Claude Monet is laid to rest in the church’s graveyard. Our journey will take us past Vétheuil, another place where Monet resided, and a pause at the cave church of Haute Isle nearby, etched into the Seine valley’s cliff, is also on the agenda.
