Incredible Photography Tour With an Outstanding Guide - I had a wonderful private photography tour with Clara. It was a once in a lifetime experience. Clara is very knowledgeable about photography and a delightful person to spend time with. We spent three hours wandering around Montmarte at sunset. She knows the area well and took me to locations that I would never have found on my own. She also helped to bring out the best in my photography as the terrain and light continued to shift. I feel like I will be able to bring what I learned from Clara to my future photographic endeavors. I highly recommend Clara and Aperture Tours.

Clara provides clarity! An excellent adventure in Paris. - Having visited Paris several times before I was looking for a new perspective and my three hours with Clara from Aperture Tours surpassed all expectations. After firstly ascertaining my level of expertise and my objectives, Clara crafted three hours that went by in a flash. She was patient and thoughtful, allowing me to experiment and then helping me to ‘fine tune.’ Her knowledge of the location was a tremendous asset but the best part of the afternoon was Clara herself, a talented young lady who is an excellent communicator as well. She made me feel comfortable right from the outset and I have already started putting her tips into practice and can happily report progress in the right direction! Thank you Clara.

Don’t miss a photowalk with Clara! - Had a terrific time walking the streets of Paris with Clara! She helped me see places that I would not have seen on my own and pointed out photo compositions that helped my images. Clara’s a brilliant photographer - I walked away with tips and pointers to practice - but most of all she’s a kind, welcoming face in Paris. Awesome photo tour - We had a great tour with Clara. We admit we originally booked this as a misunderstanding that this was more of a photo shoot rather than a session about locations and techniques for taking pictures. But Clara was wonderful and flexible with us. Ended up being a great experience and we still got some amazing photos even with the rain. She was so patient and we had a great time together. Wonderful way to explore the city. Happy we did it.

Alternative Postcards from Paris - I spent three fantastic hours with Clara, who was brilliant at finding Paris's unusual views and aspects. Clara was great at offering suggestions for angles, perspectives and unusual sightlines and was kind enough to provide insight into her creative process. We saw things that, as tourists, we would have missed, and the three hours passed far too quickly. As testimony to how good the session was, we're planning a couple of other city visits and working out how to fit in an Aperture Tours session while we're there (Amsterdam & Tokyo, look out!). I can't recommend Paris Aperture Tours and Clara highly enough. Great session!

Great photo evening with a very knowledgeable photographer guide - I took a one-to-one Paris by night with Michiru in October. I do quite a bit of photography already, but nonetheless, Michiru was able to show me various new settings, and I got some lovely images. Michiru was very knowledgeable about Paris and very helpful, carrying my tripod and pointing out lots of great photo spots. I will definitely use Aperture photos again, and if I am in Paris again, I will ask for Michiru. Thank you very much!

Best Photography Tour. Ever. Anywhere. - I am a hobbyist photographer and have never claimed otherwise. That said, I love capturing the "perfect" shot as much as anyone else. I stumbled over Aperture Tours while looking for a photography-based tour during my time in Paris. I spoke with Alexander via chat regarding a few questions, and booked the six-hour afternoon/night tour. It was worth every penny (or Euro). I had the pleasure of working with Clara, who is absolutely delightful. I've struggled with applying the academic knowledge regarding aperture/f-stops, exposure/shutter speed, ISO, etc. to actual field work. I'm a hands-on learner and needed to put it into practice as the terms were being discussed. Clara worked with me to gain a better understanding of how to use the manual functions of my camera so I have less work to do in post––to take the photo and not create it after the fact. I continued to do so throughout the remainder of my vacation, including a trip into the Arctic Circle to view the northern lights, and was successful. This tour will cost more than other options, but aside from visiting locations of interest to photograph, you get one-on-one instruction from a professional photographer to improve your own skill set. As stated above, it's worth the price and I will utilize them again in the future if I travel to an area where Aperture Tours is staffed.

Tour review - Clara was a a wonderful tour guide who was able to show me some great locations to take photos. She’s also an expert on the technical aspects of photography which made the tour that much more enjoyable
