Highlights
  • Eiffel Tower - On this immersive tour, your private guide will take you inside the tower and share about its engineering, design, history, and brief notoriety.
Take a break from climbing on the first floor and admire the views, including through the transparent floor below you. There are exhibits here, too, like a piece of the tower’s spiral staircase almost lost to history.
Next, climb to the second level for a stunning panorama of Paris: the Louvre, Notre Dame, Sacré-Cœur in Montmartre, the Grand Palais, the Seine river, and beyond.
You’ll continue via glass-walled elevator to the very top of the tower. At the summit, peek inside Gustave’s restored private office, with wax figures of Claire, his daughter, and Thomas Edison. Other exhibits show historic maps and even a model of the reddish-brown 1889 summit. Enjoy the views from the indoor and outdoor observation decks, and finish it all off with a drink at the champagne bar.

Additional Information

Experience our top-selling Guided Climb Tour in a private, exclusive setting tailored to your preferences. Ascend the Eiffel Tower as its designer, Gustave Eiffel, envisioned. He believed this to be the optimal view of the tower, a sentiment we share — hence, we launched the world’s inaugural Eiffel Tower Guided Climb. On this in-depth excursion, your local guide escorts you inside the tower, showcasing its architectural, design, historical, and temporary infamous aspects.
Pause your ascent on the first deck to take in the surrounding vistas and look down through the clear base.
The next stage of the climb brings you to the second platform for a picturesque view over Paris, taking in landmarks such as the Louvre, Notre Dame, Sacre-Coeur, the Grand Palais, the Seine river, and more.
When you reach the peak, step into Gustave’s refurbished personal study, inhabited by lifelike statues of his daughters Claire and the inventor, Thomas Edison.
To conclude your adventure, savour the landscape from the indoor and outdoor viewing decks and celebrate with a glass of champagne.

  • The Eiffel Tower staff may close the summit at the last minute due to overcrowding, security measures or construction. If this happens, you will receive a partial refund for this portion of your tour.
  • Luggage may not be permitted by discretion of Eiffel Tower staff
  • Per Eiffel Tower rules, if you upgrade your tour to see the summit, you’ll need to visit the summit right after the guided tour ends. Afterward, feel free to explore the other two floors on your way down. The first level of the Eiffel Tower has more exhibits, a glass floor, and occasional pop-ups.

Best Eiffel Tower Tour ever - The Tour was perfectly organised and we always felt taken care of. We had the most funny and knowledgeable tour guide called Joe. He showed us the best places to go and gave a lot of background information on the Tour Eiffel and the top spots of Paris… fun facts included! In case you have a choice make sure to book your tour with Joe (he speaks French, English, Spanish and also quite well German).

Best way to view tge whole of Paris, whilst admiring an engineering miracle. - Amazing experience and the most breathtaking views. Hard going for someone as unfit as me, but we'll worth the climb. Great guide too, who pointed out many landmarks, which we later visited.

great walk up and down the eiffel tower w kids!(ages 11 and 14) - Great views even on a cool semi rainy day. Going to summit was great great pictures and doing the stairs was great both up and down- so much faster than waiting in line for the elevators. Went 930am on a Sunday in March and the line was pretty quick to get in and get the tickets. Nina our tour guide was great, I loved that she wore a purple coat so was easy to spot in a crowd! In terms of information, I would like liked more in depth info on the eiffel tower or a shorter presentation, rather than a brief overview of all famous Paris monuments. I think if we were to do it over, we would have got there early before it opened and then just got our tickets and walked up on our own, there is lots of information on the various floors to go over the basic history. Experience First was easy to find and seemed very well organized though, which was also a good way to start it all off.
