If all you need is a chauffeur - What we were expecting from the tour description and what we received were different. From the description, and the price, I believed we were getting a guide who spoke English and knew about wines and Champagne country. I wanted to learn about France’s famous Champagne area. Although punctual and respectful, unfortunately our guide spoke very little English. It was frustratingly silent and uneducational while we took the 2-hour trip from Paris. Asking questions about what we were seeing was not an option. The two of us traveled alone in the backseat. I met other couples at the wineries who had engaged other wine guides for at least 400 less than we had. I envied while I watched their English speaking guide interact and be helpful with his passengers. If you simply want a chauffeur, this tour is for you. I gave this two stars versus 1 because the driver was punctual and polite. PS Book very early to ensure you get into the wineries as advertised in the tour description. We could not get into Moët and that was very disappointing.
