Fascinating dive into history! - Excellent visit, passionate and fascinating guide. A dive into the history of Paris, but also of culture, arts and letters, recent or very old stories... We don't see the time passing and we learn a lot in 3 hours of wandering. Special mention to the guide Jean-François who gives everything! To do, to do 👍

Exceptional visit - I had already taken a free tour of the cemetery but this visit led by Thierry is simply exceptional! He knows the subject very well, we never get bored for a second, we discover and learn lots of things, anecdotes well beyond simple graves. I would say that this is one of the must-see monuments and a visit to Paris to do. Despite the rain we had a wonderful afternoon. Note the presence of his friend André. Also not stingy with anecdotes during the visit. I can't wait to return to Paris and visit Montmartre with this team

Worth the visit - Put on your comfortable shoes and set aside a few hours to walk this cemetary. Very rich in history with the final resting place of some famous people. There's ma map of the cemetary inside take a photo of that and don't waste the 2 euros on the one being sold outside. Everything is clearly marked and easy to follow. It's very quiet and peaceful with a few crows cawing yoy may even see a few cats roaming around.

To do without hesitation - 3.5 hours of pure joy: anecdotes, great stories and dark but hilarious humor. I did the circuit of the Montmartre cemetery a month ago and of Père Lachaise today and I am impatiently awaiting those of Montparnasse and Passy. Have a great time guaranteed Sabine

Confirmed guide therefore essential not to miss the most interesting history - The tour was interesting largely due to the guide who dominated his subject despite a bit of exasperating histrionics at times.

A visit between heaven and earth - Monsieur Le Roi knows how to create a bridge between two worlds: he brings to life the memory of deceased celebrities as well as of the individual inspired by his final resting place. Highlighting heritage, he speaks with passion about funerary art. Taphophilia takes on its full meaning with him and leads us to joyfully contemplate the creation of his tomb. Kind and attentive, this timeless visit accessible to all (provided you have had a good lunch and walked at a brisk pace) is a real pleasure.

Pere Lachaise tour doesn't disappoint - There is so much to see that 2 hrs. is simply not enough time. Our guide, Alberto, has been doing tours for over 10 years and has incredible knowledge of the cemetery. We had a small group (4 people), so the attention received may have been greater than normal. The stories and history behind many of the graves was explained well, and we walked away with a deeper understanding of the cemetery. My only rub is how to navigate through the cemetery. There are many twists and turns - you start at the top of a hill (basically) and work your way down slowly. If you have trouble navigating small spaces (in between graves), just be mindful of this.
