Emily is a fantastic tour guide. - Emily was an absolutely phenomenal tour guide. We learnt so much, she had a great vibe, and was SO educated. Could not recommend this tour more. Book if you’re interested in learning more about Paris than they teach in the history books.

Women Getting the Representation They Deserve - As a French history enthusiast, this tour filled in the missing parts from the stories: women! Heidi has done her research in putting together this pleasant walk, which shows how each key female figure wielded power in her era. She does a great job of creating connections, both among the tour participants and the historical characters.

Interesting histories and a lovely walk - Highly recommend this tour! Lovely morning walking tour with our guide Pat. I enjoyed the histories, some names I recognized but mostly the people and stories were new to me. Pat was great guide. She added lots of interesting color and tidbits to the historical figures. Great way to spend a couple of hours.

Excellent introduction to the true influence women had centuries ago - Emily was wonderful. She answered questions and provided so much information. Things I didn’t know. I really thing you should write a book with all the information you’ve collected. More women need to know the real facts. Our ancestors have been kept in the background not getting acknowledged for the difference they truly made.

Such a special experience in Paris, very much recommend! - This tour was such a special experience in Paris. I absolutely loved all the stories of influential and fearless women we heard - especially those about Simone Veil and her extraordinary life journey and impact on the lives of many women in France as well as much-more-than-the-basic-facts about Marie Curie! Our tour guide Emily was SO wonderful. She created a lovely atmosphere and her humor was just amazing. Also, Emily created a space where we felt free to ask questions, and I did ask many haha, and in the way she answered them, it was clear she is very passionate about the subject. 10/10 recommend!

Highly recommend - Our guide Emily was great. Friendly, knowledgeable, funny - it was so much fun. A brilliant way to explore parts of Paris you otherwise wouldn't and loved hearing details of strong women from France's history. We did the Essentials tour so looking forward to delving in to the other stories next time.

Rethinking villains and Finding new role models - My husband and I were on Emily’s Essentials tour on our last day in Paris and I’m so glad we were able to fit it in. We learned about the roles so many influential French women had on the country and the world. Not a spoiler, but while at the pantheon Emily touched on Simone Veil’s contributions to French politics. I hadn’t heard of her before and later, while flipping through movies on the plane home, watched her biopic Simone: The Journey of the Century. Highly recommend watching it. Neither I or my husband, a physician, knew about another critical the role Marie Curie played in the war. Emily was extremely knowledgeable and lovely. We’ve been on many tours in different countries and this tour was the most well thought out and intentional. I couldn’t help think that these tours must be impacting change and was thrilled to know there are historical educational experiences like these that bring into question centuries-old beliefs.

So worthwhile! - Emily showed us so much about Paris that we would have not otherwise seen! She was engaging, knowledgeable, and responsive to questions. What a fun and enriching experience!
