Join a respected chef in the kitchen and unearth the mysteries of a hallmark French meal. The chef will impart their knowledge, expertise and cooking methodologies to you in a tailored food preparation class. Whether you choose Butternut ristotto or duck and pumpkin parmentier, these complex meals will become simple to master! An all-encompassing course fit for every ability level, concluded by a tasting session in traditional French manner!
- Minimum age is 12 years old and children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Language of the class: English and French
- If the minimum number of participants is not reached, Galeries Lafayette reserves the right to cancel the class. In this case, you will be reimbursed for the entirety of the amount paid. You may cancel on your behalf, without fees, up to 48 hours in advance. After this time, the full amount of the class will be charged. For the sake of your health avoid eatingtoo much fat, sugar and salt.
- We invite you to show up 5-10min before the activity, in case of delay of more than 10min, access to the activity will unfortunately be refused.

Great time with great food - The chef made our time very memorable and explained in detail all intricacies of the dish. Learned a lot in very cozy atmosphere, recommended!

Superb experience - Since the class is in a department store, we expected more of a demonstration and were absolutely delighted that it was very much hands on. The chef was comfortably bilingual -- the other four in the class were French speaking -- and the quality of the instruction was very high level. For about what a good lunch would have cost the two of us in a pleasant Paris restaurant, we were treated to a great learning and dining experience. Highly recommended!!

Provençale tart with thyme and Parmesan crust - It was an amazing experience with chef Elise, learned a lot about chef mastery skills. The plate we prepared was very delicious.

Great Experience - Chef Eric was patient and attentive, pragmatic, energetic, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. I had a great time in his class. He answered sll my questions about the recipe and cooking techniques generally. I learned a lot in the class.

Chef Eric is the best! - We absolutely loved the cooking class with Chef Eric. The cooking skills and tips were helpful and the meal we created was delicious. We loved every moment cooking and then sitting down with Chef to enjoy our creation. Highly recommend!

I would take this class again! - We enjoyed our class. We can wait to make our dinner for friends at home. Elisa our chef was pleasant and accommodating to our dietary needs. Instruction was clear and helpful when we were unsure if things were going right.

Great way to spend an afternoon - Chef Eric was extremely knowledgeable and patient in his instruction.. He checked on each of us to make sure that we eere progressing timely.
We all sat down and had a beautiful meal with wine and a lovely dessert It was not included in the menu. Step away from the sightseeing and try this. It was refreshing fun and a great way to spend a couple hours as a couple or as a solo traveler

Very poor cooking experience - We’d booked for one vegetarian on the course and were told at the start that they were only doing a chicken dish. The chef was not prepared to try and accommodate the vegetarian.
No real teaching or explanation or help. The chef just prepared the dish and we had to follow the best we could..
I asked for red wine to accompany the lunch and was told only white would be served.
When i eventually persuaded the chef to let me have red i given given a very small glass and told that was all I was allowed. In the meantime my wife and two friends had a bottle of white left for them.
All in all a very poor experience. Definitely not worth the money or the time
