As you wander through these mysterious tunnels, you’ll also have access to sections of the Catacombs typically closed to the public, accompanied by fascinating facts and stories from a knowledgeable local guide.
Please note: To ensure a more personal experience, this tour features a reduced group size of six people and a modified price on select days.

Amazing history - Amazing history, and we purchased directly through the Paris France website as other websites may not be genuine. We loved the audio explanation of the history, the pictures, and the most important message of all: it doesn’t matter what class you are, everyone ends up in the catacombs for previous sanitary reasons. Not handicap friendly, does require a lot of stair climbing.

Wonderful! - Exploring the catacombs was a truly unique and hauntingly beautiful experience. The dimly lit corridors, lined with ancient bones and historical artifacts, created an atmosphere that was both eerie and fascinating. Our guide was knowledgeable, weaving together tales of the past with insights into the architectural significance of these underground chambers. The stories of the lives and customs of those interred brought history vividly to life. Walking through this solemn resting place was a humbling reminder of the passage of time. I highly recommend this tour to history buffs and anyone seeking a profound, unforgettable glimpse into the past.

Loved This - Was such a great experience seeing the underground catacombs. Doing the tour you get to actually go into other areas that you don't if you don't do the tour. Tour guide gives you so much information but it's important for you to actually hear. It was not as cold down there as we had anticipated. And the steps or not as bad as anticipated my mom is 83 going down was not a problem going back up she was able to just to take her time and did just fine. We really enjoyed this tour all the way from my grandson 21 years of age all the way to my mom 83 years of age.

Disappointed - I visited Paris in December 2024 and I tried to visit the Paris Catacombs Tour.
For 3 weeks I tried to get tickets and was unsuccessful.
I re-visited Paris with my children in June 2025 and again I tried to visit the Paris Catacombs Tour. Again I tried for 3 weeks to get tickets and was unsuccessful.
I reached out to the office and asked for their assistance as the website was confirming availability but I was unable to book (even after reducing the quantity to 1 No.).

Use anyone but Walks Paris- they do not care for their customers at all. Read this. - Viator did not publish my review because it was bad, but I feel I MUST share this, as it is my first bad experience. First of all, shortly before the tour day they moved our tour time from first thing in the morning to the middle of the day, which screwed up other travel plans in Paris that day, but we agreed to work with them and changed our other plans to accommodate the tour operator. We traveled to the other side of Paris from where we were to show up 15 minutes before the meeting time to be sure we were not late. Eventually, another family and a couple showed up for the same tour (we had booked a small group, so we are already not getting what we paid for. The meeting time came and went and nobody showed up. I messaged the operator and no response. After a while longer with no response, I reached out to Viator, but no response there until I had already put my phone away again (more than 12 minutes to respond to a chat? Not cool. I could not find a number to call but one of the other guests did once we hit the hour late mark. She managed to find someone to tell her that the Catacombs were closed and they had been on strike for a long time, so not a new issue, so it was impossible to tour them. ZERO communication from Walks France. NONE. They reached out late that day saying we would get a refund, but we changed our plans and wasted almost half our day traveling to the start and waiting, not to mention the money paid to get there. They could have sent us notification that morning to tell us not to come, but did not and did not respond to messages from any of the three of our groups while we waited in the 90 degree F temps. If this is the way "Walks France" handles their guests, you really should find another tour company when you are in Paris- we had some really good experiences with three other tour companies while there. Use someone else.

Total fail and no-show and no warning. Read this. First ever bad review. - We arrived as instructed, waiting with two other groups. Nobody ever showed up. We stood (our group and the two other) for an hour past the start time, an hour and a half past the meeting time, in the sun, trying to message, call, etc. Victor did not respond for more then ten minutes on their chat so I missed that the first time (how is that responsive), the Tour company did not respond until later that day. The thing is, there was a strike at the Catacombs that has been going on for a little while. They knew this, there were signs posted we saw later at the entrance to the Catacombs (not at the assigned meeting point), so why not contact us all that morning and tell us not to travel across the city? We lost half a day of vacation because of this. DO NOT use this company and shame on you Viator for not responding more quickly. Who waiting on a chat more than 10 minutes for a response when standing outside in a foreign country stressing about an issue like this? Unacceptable. First bad experience, but it was memorable in a bad way.

Closed!! - Travel from UK especially for the catacombs it was my main reason for going, booked my slot in advance and arrived to find it closed due to strike! No prior warning they coukd have emailed to tell us but nothing. Now have to wait up to 8 weeks for a refund.

Closed June 12 due to strike - Bought tix online June 6. Arrived 6/12 for reserved date and time. Closed due to strike.

Pretty sure we will get refund (crossing fingers), but they should also reimburse €5 for metro tix.
