Explore the Grand Apartments, State Rooms, and the famous Hall of Mirrors. If the option is selected, your tour includes tickets to visit the Gardens of Versailles at your own pace.
- We strongly recommend all clients who are traveling with infants to bring their own infant or child seat. It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to ensure the safety of their child.
- From April 1st, you’ll have the opportunity to freely explore the gardens at your own pace and enjoy the musical show inside the gardens of Versailles. Please be aware that guided visits inside the gardens will no longer be included
- Entry to the gardens is free of charge from November to March, and no ticket is required during this period. However, from April to October, a ticket is necessary to visit the gardens. Your City Wonders representative will provide you with your ticket on the day of the tour.
- If you select the Full Day Option with Giverny & Versailles, you will start by a tour of Claude Monet’s House in Giverny, followed by free time in the village. You will then head to Versailles by coach for an afteroon guided tour. You will be back in Paris at 7pm

We had a fabulous... - We had a fabulous experience! Our guide Martha was very informative and did a great job navigating our group through the crowds. Eat before you go! Versailles is huge and you won’t want to waste time waiting in long lines for food.

Amazing tour! - We had such a wonderful experience on this tour. The pickup spot was right in front of our hotel and they took us and dropped us back as well. Everything was organized so well and our tour guide was amazing. She gave us a little gift at the end as well 🩷 we highly recommend this tour!

Versailles tour - Versailles is incredibly crowded, the gardens are lovely. The bus had issues, hot and a broken bathroom door. The women organizing the tour were terrific. The tour leader, Lily, did a wonderful job...lots of history, which she conveyed with enthusiasm and a dramatic flair. She managed the group extremely well. She helped make the place come alive!

Spring time at the Palace - Marta was an excellent tour guide. We skipped the long line to enter. Bus ride round trip to palace was very comfortable. Once inside the palace , Marta was able to maneuver 25 of us through the crowds of visitors. After her part of the palace tour, we rented a golf cart to see more of the grounds. I would recommend this tour

Skip the tour - Honestly, book entrance tickets yourself and enjoy seeing Versailles. Train travel from Paris is easy our guide Lily was hard to understand at times and was all about flipping her hair and being "cute" .

Unknowledgeable tour guide - Transportation and organization of the trip was smooth, but the tour guide was less than ideal. He was factually incorrect numerous times, including saying that France conquered India.
