Informational and enjoyable - Our tour guide was full of great information about not only the landings but parts of France while in the journey. The tour was great and would recommend highly for anyone want to go but doesn’t have lots of time to spend in the area.

Great way to see the WWII highlights in one day - This was a great tour that was very well-organized. The tour guide was very engaging and knowledgable about World War II, and shared lots of interesting details with us about the area. My only complaint would be that we didn't have enough time, but that's nothing the tour could have changed since we were gone for an entire day already. If I had to do it again, I might consider doing an overnight in the Normandy area, so I could visit more of the museums. But on this tour you'll see the highlights and get to see the surrounding countryside. Highly recommended for a day trip!

Well worth it! - The tour guide didn't shut up from the time we got on the bus at 7am until the time we got off at 8pm (which was a good thing.) Not only did she give detailed history of the landings, but she gave background history, what else was going on in the region at the time, and the role that the land, buildings, and people played. She was insanely knowledgeable and informative. I am terrible with names, so I forgot hers, but she was wonderful. The scenery and old buildings are the silent stars of the show. They look like they have for hundreds of years, though most have been partially or fully rebuilt. Even if history or military events aren't your thing, you can still go for the sights.

Omaha Beach Normandy - Standing on the Omaha Beach looking up at the ridge and picturing it all. Sobering and deeply moving. My father served during WWII and participated in the D-Day landing. He came home - many did not. He never spoke about it. There are no words.

Moving and important trip - Steve was a wonderful guide. He gave us many details about the places we visited. We would have liked more time at each place, but there is just not enough time on a day trip. The morning before boarding the bus was a bit confusing, but all in all a trip everyone should experience.
