Lovely museum and tour guide - What a special tour! We had limited time in Paris and chose this museum… glad we did! Belen was so informative and we felt like we had our own private tour while in our group (she typically gives smaller tours with 2 people). She was incredibly well spoken and also added “extras” in as she explained the paintings and what they meant for the art movement. It felt like a master class on the history of art and Paris, too, in the best way!! If we’d had more time in the city, we would have booked another tour with the company Belen works with.

Fantastic - Avi was amazing. I would take this tour a million times. He knew so much. Gave us facts and theories. He explained how one art movement led to the next. It was so interesting.

Team Adam! - Adam was a fantastic tour guide. He made sure to learn all our names and really include us in an interactive way with all the story telling of the art and the artists behind the painting. Some of the things I learnt really shocked and haunted me! Adam was for sure the best tour guide we have had all of our Euro trip.

Travel delays - I gave the tour a 1 because we did not end up taking it. We were in Paris and public transit with the Olympics was quite slow. We called on our way in to explain that we would be late (this was our fault but also unavoidable with the delays), and we asked to meet up with the group once we arrived about 10 minutes past the start time. The vendor was unwilling to give us a meeting point or a refund, so we had to purchase tickets again once we got there. Very frustrating experience for us. Advice for those booking tours: there is no way to catch up, get in to the buildings, or in any way recoup what you paid. If you book, be aware of this and have back up plans for transportation.
