Hendricks was a great... - Hendricks was a great guide! He spends the drive talking to all of us and sharing his knowledge of the art and artist. My mom and I had a lot of fun. There are a lot of people who visit the gardens so be prepared for that.

Monet’s Gardens Tour with Lawrence - Lawrence was an outstanding tour guide. He was very personable, helpful, knowledgeable and fun! We would highly recommend this tour. Monet’s gardens were stunning. And, walking through Monet’s home was amazing. The gift shop was great too. Lawrence told us that we had a great day ahead. He was absolutely correct! Thank you!

Worthy destination - Meeting point is challenging to find and about a 10 minute walk from the nearest metro station. Since they drop off at the metro station, I don’t understand why they can’t pick up there as well. Coach was comfortable. Garden was lovely, even on a rainy day. Would recommend trying to do the trip on a weekday if possible. Tour director didn’t really do much other than check us in and count noses. He told many stories about the Monet family, and about the origins of the madeleine pastry, most of which turned out to be “not quite right” on post tour attempts to confirm. Nice guy, though.

Great Tour and Easy Commute - Monets garden was fantastic. Albeit it was very busy, we had a wonderful time exploring. It was so pretty and perfect for photos. I don’t think there is ever a bad day to be there. Our tour guide Maja was very informative and even afterwards gave us all the tips and history of Paris on the drive back. We got back at 2:30/14:30.

Disappointing due to time constraints. - After looking forward to our visit to Claude Monet’s house, this was a letdown. First, the pros: We were picked up on time, the driver and guide were both friendly. We were transported back to Paris on time as well. The cons: We arrived about 10:30, and our entrance tickets were for 11:00. So our guide chitchatted with the group outside the entrance for 30 minutes. It was hard to hear anything she said, as there were lots of other tourist groups in the area. We finally decided to just break away and get a coffee before going in (as our guide had already distributed the entrance tickets). The biggest con: it was super busy, so we all just shuffled along the path surrounding the pond. Once we got clear of the first bit, we were able to enjoy some of the landscape, but again there were so many people. The line to enter Monet’s House was long, and as a result, we had to move through pretty quickly because, the biggest con: We only had 2 hours, 15 minutes, to enter the lower garden, upper garden, the house, and the village of Giverny. We never even made it to the village. I realize the tour company cannot control crowd size, but even with reasonable crowds, the time was not anywhere near long enough. Overall, it felt more like an expensive bus ride. We probably could have accomplished more on our own.
