During this journey, you will gain insights about the Jewish community and the Knights Templar, explore the era when Marais was a sought-after locale for lavish yet conservative aristocratic residences, delve into its decline as it became an unsafe, working-class quarter, and learn about its beautification, refinement, and its eventual resurgence to fame. Beautiful Church and Architecture - Beautiful Architecture. Favorite part was the church. The parts we saw were definitely more commercialized. I would tell guide exactly what you are interested in seeing. This tour company will always try to accommodate all requests. Highly recommend using Paris In Person for any tour.

In depth view into Paris - Boris had fascinating insights to share that helped tie the past to present cultures. The Marais is a wonderful mix of architecture.

Very interesting area, and a fantastic tour guide. - When visiting Paris, make sure to include the Marais area as a must see. I recommend taking this tour, and if possible, take it with Isadora. She met us right near the metro stop, and right on time. She was a wealth of information about the Marais and made the tour so interesting. She answered all of our questions along the way, and we all enjoyed our afternoon with her. We took this tour on a Sunday, which we learned is a very busy day in the Marais because the stores are open. It was a nice day, and it was crazy busy, but we enjoyed ourselves nevertheless. Thank you Isadora for a wonderful tour. It was one of the highlights of our visit to Paris.

saw the neighborhood in a way we never would have on our own - The tour was well designed, with stops along the way & history & neighborhood information readily shared. Unfortunately it was raining, which made it harder to hear the guide and to really enjoy the neighborhood ambiance as everyone was hurrying to get where they were going. We would do it again though & highly recommend. (Customer service was very friendly as we were running a few minutes behind & then couldn't find the guide who had also set out to find us. thank goodness for cell phones!)
