Fun, fun, fun - Just learning how to do it and in such a simple instruction method. We only speak English and the instructor was very accommodating. We were very happy we got the recipe and got to taste and bring some macaroons home. It was a comfortable location with people from a variety of places.

A morning as a French baking family - A hands on experience piping out macaron shells and mixing the ganache. Very informative and so unique. Our teacher Aurelie was super informative and friendly. Great activity for the whole family

Fun family experience! - My husband and I took our daughters (age 14) to this class while we were visiting Paris. There were about 20 people in the class, but it was not a problem. The instructor demonstrated how to make macaron shells, and each person had a chance to use the piping bag to form macarons. After that, everything else was individual and hands-on. We enjoyed making our own ganache, assembling the macarons, and tasting them! Plenty of feedback was provided along the way. Recipes to take home we're handed out at the end of the class. We're looking forward to making our own macarons from scratch when we get home. Would highly recommend this great experience in Paris!

Great instructor - Our instructor was excellent and made sure everyone had a chance to participate. It was also fun to chat with the other class members.

Definitely do this! - This was one of our favorite activities in Paris. It was very well organized and presented. We LOVED learning how to make macarons and can’t wait to get home and try them. Due to the length of the class there wasn’t time to do the whole process but we did get to see and try all the steps. And we got to take some we filled home (in a very cute box and bag). There were people from all over the world in the class which was also fun. Plus being located at the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann meant great shopping and being able to see the amazing glass dome. Definitely worth doing!

Engaging and easy - Easy class. Lovely baker. Learned some nice baking tips. Convenient after a day of shopping at the Galeries Lafayette.

Yum! - If you don’t know Paris it’s confusing to find. Due to this we were late and missed some of the instruction. What we did participate in we thoroughly enjoyed. I was with my 17 year old granddaughter.

We really didn;t learn to... - We really didn;t learn to make them just watch and have all ingredients pre measured out and added to baked macaroons

Macaroon Mania - It was fun although I wish it could have been more "hands on" other than just whisking the ganache and making only 4 macaroons The recipe provided at the end of the class was a nice touch.

Not worth the money - Cute idea but not worth the money. At the start of class, the instructor made the cookies and asked if anyone wanted to "practice" piping them onto trays. I assumed that meant we'd all get the chance to make them at some point but nope, that was it. The rest of class consisted of whisking a tablespoon of chocolate ganache and even less pistachio butter, then spreading them onto the premade cookies. Our instructor had little interaction with the group beside asking our favorite French desserts. No instruction on how long to bake, what they should look like, etc (though we did leave with recipe cards). At $65/person... we walked away with four macarons. Plenty of other ways to spend money in Paris.
