What was better, the Louvre or Violette? - Tour guides are normally well educated and able to communicate well and explain what you are seeing so you go away feeling fulfilled. We had a wonderful tour of the Louvre with Violette. It is now two days later and we are still talking about Violette. She gave us a great tour, one we will forever remember. But it is the Louvre, a great place on its own. Violette is special. We have travelled all over the world and have had some really excellent tour guides, for both long and like this, short tours. Violette smiles, laughs, communicates with you as though you have known her for a long time. Instant friendship and enjoyment being together in the group. She made learning fun, answered all questions. But with passion, the entire tour was filled with it. Everyone works to pay bills, some love what they do, most don’t, it’s just a job. You can feel her passion whenever she speaks. Her body language alone tells you she is excited by what she is doing. Her words make you sure of it. She takes being a tour guide to a different level. If we were in a position where she could be our guide again, it would be a no brainer. Look for her when you are in Paris before you look for anyone else. I am telling you truthfully, you will not be disappointed.

Exactly what I wanted! - Eduardo was everything I wanted! Very knowledgeable about art history in general and the Louvre in particular, he allowed me to view particular pieces in a way I would not have been able to alone. He was enthusiastic and passionate about art, as well as friendly and personable. I'd drag him to other museums around the world if I could. I 100% recommend him.

A walking history encyclopedia. Visiting hotspots without her seems pointless. - Violette exceeded al our expectations by far! It was an amazing experience, she is like a walking history encyclopedia, with all the juicy details. Everything was excellent! - Our tour guide Violet was a delightful gift to all four of us! She made us feel totally comfortable in a busy environment with her sence of humor and calm presence. Violet's knowledge about art history was femnonminal! Not only did she point out interesting facts, but also gave us back stores pertaining to particular art pieces and their creators. The only problem we had was saying goodbye to Violet, we left wanting more. That's a good thing. 😄

Best guide in Paris - Violette was magical!! Not only is she incredibly insightful and knowledgeable, but she’s so passionate about the work and the history of the pieces!! Great tour and experience - Every aspect of this tour was excellent. Our guide, Violette, was exceptional, well informed, possesses extensive understanding and knowledge of art, history and the Louvre. Our itinerary included a photo of where to meet, and we met 5 minutes early. Entrance to the museum was easy. Violette had injured her knee the day before our tour, however this did not deter or slow her down, and we saw everything we expected to see and more. The tour was well paced, and Violette provided time for us to enjoy the tour and the experience. Prior to the tour, Adam assisted with some art research that I am doing, and this was above and beyond what I could expect. Violette knew the museum well, and was skilled at moving us through and around the vast crowds with ease, to make the very best of our time. I highly recommend Fat Cat Tours.
