Fantastic high energy tour. - Our guide was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and an excellent communicator. She was very adept at moving us through the crowds to reach the most popular sights and provided enlightening information all along the way. Her high energy approach made the entire experience a delight.

The Mona Lisa Directly - The best way to skip the crowds to go directly to the Mona Lisa. The museum is simply too large and crowded to get to the Mona Lisa quickly on your own. After the viewing you can explore and stay as long as you like.

Great tour! - We have always heard about how magnificent the Louvre was to visit. This tour did not disappoint. While you can see the Louvre on your own, having a knowledgeable guide like Monica makes the visit come alive. Not being an art buff, I learned a ton! Seeing the Mona Lisa and learning the history behind the painting was well worth it. The tour was on time and organized which is greatly appreciated. Thank you Monica!

A tremendous tour made better by Paul our tour guide - The tour guide Paul was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. We learned a lot about history, of the French, Greeks and Italians. The museum is a must see, an amazing collection of historical pieces.

A shorter experience would be better - Monica did a great job of connecting the statues in Sully and allowing them to tell us story. We were able to avoid ticketing/entrance lines. However, we felt the tour dragged on a bit too long, especially after entering Denon. We suggest charging less and consolidating into a shorter tour. Finally, we found Monica very organized and friendly; she seemed to care that we understood the stories. Unfortunately, some members of the group had an issue with understanding because of her accent.

Quick Hits Tour - Highlights Only - Tour is good in concept, but poor in execution. This tour group was too big for 1 tour guide on a busy day at the museum. She was constantly looking for group members that weren't able to keep up and were lost in crowds. My group wound up loosing the entire group at the Mona Lisa exhibit as we were given 15 minutes to move through the large crowd to get up close to the front of the line and the group had already left.
Tour is informative, just I do not recommend on a busy day at the musuem.

Overwhelmed by it all ! - Overwhelming-I have been to many museums in my life , this is too much . It would be better to break this museum into 8 museums so people could appreciate all the art it holds . Also population control —reserved times for a reasonable amount of people .
I don’t like also there is a shopping mall as part of such a historical landmark….
Museums are about history & art , & education.

If you keep the bar low, you won't be disappointed. - I did not expect the chaos that ensued. There are many different tour operators who do the same thing and, until you find Viator, the tour could be over.
The guide was not easily understood, although i don;t fault him for that. The team that assisted alaso seemed to be unaware.

Bad experience with people who don’t care - We were 7 mins late. Yes that’s our fault. But we are tourists and it was raining. There was construction going on around the museum. They left us without even trying to contact us. When we arrive, the guy was not willing to help at all. He just said, “wait for hour and half and if enough people cancel, we would put you in the next one.If not there is nothing we can do”. I even stated, just get us in without guide but he was just not willing to help. Not only we lost money, we had to stand in general admission line and buy tickets.
