Worth the long day. - My son and I went with our tour guide, "G" (Gero?). We've done a lot of battlefield tours in both Europe and the US, so we have a solid point of reference. It's a long day, ~14 hours, but "G" did an excellent job of staying engaged with our group through his insights. We could not have been happier with the experience.

A great trip - This was truly a great day. Clement was a terrific guide: so friendly and knowledgeable. We were 8 people in a nice van. The trip was really focused on what the Canadians did and their experience in the Normandy invasion. Very emotional experience. The Canadian museum is great: we could have spent more time there. It was an expensive day but I’m glad we did it.

As a Canadian it was... - As a Canadian it was amazing to do the tour with an emphasis on the Juno site and sites we were involved with. Would have liked more time at Juno beach.

Emotional visit to Jono Beach, Normandy - Great tour- very informative. It was quite emotional to see the museum, the bunkers and beaches where the Canadians landed, and to hear about what they went through. A highlight of the tour was the visit to the Canadian cemetery at Beny-sur-Mer, with over 2,000 graves, immaculate grounds, and identical tombstones (all with an engraved maple leaf, and all lined up in absolutely straight rows). It was heart rending to read the names of the soldiers, their age (most very young), and their date of death (many in June and July of 1944).

Great Day - Our guide Clement was great. Very knowledgeable and good story teller. We are Canadians with immediate family who fought in WW 2 and found walking on Juno beach and the Juneau museum very moving. Loved the whole day.

The Lucky ones - It was a great tour, learned a lot what the Canadian soldiers, went through and how hard it was for them. War does not solve anything, just a lot of Innocent people die !

Not enough information along the way - We had a good experience but not as good as should have been. Nicholas our driver was a good driver but lacked enough knowledge as our guide. He was kind and considerate but since it’s a rushed schedule to get everything in, he should have given us more information in route or at each place of interest. We did not have enough time to read about things as we went along.

Juno - Have a great day! We should all visit the Normandy landing sites. Matthew was very kind! Please do not use the cell phone while driving the car on the highway. It made us very nervous:0(
