Fabulous! - Best experience and highlight of the trip to Paris. They are so helpful and guide you through the process. The finished product is a one of a kind!! So amazing. Don’t forget to include time to shop at their store. I LOVE the new location and so many ‘pretties’. I definitely treated myself

Great Fun, great staff, great space! - Great fun! Knowledgeable staff that made the purse making fun. Such a cool space, would highly recommend to others. My daughter and I made matching Chanel-ish purses that we will treasure forever to remind us of our wonderful trip to Paris.

Memorable Experience Meets Affordable Luxe - What a great way to immerse yourself into the Parisian capitol of fashion and design! We set aside 3 hours for our daughter to create a custom Chanel bag under the careful supervision of such remarkabable assistants, Marinette, Marie and her mother and stitching professionals. The store is a menagerie of design ideas -denim jackets, hats and bags. And after days of city sightseeing, we looked forward to a brief reprieve from crowds, queues and stairs. With the Summer Olympics coming soon, make your reservations in advance to save a spot.

Don't do a workshop on Saturday. - I had booked the bag workshop for my mother's birthday on Saturday afternoon. There were a lot of us (not really room to do the activity). It took my mom and I literally 1 hour and 45 minutes to choose our fabric for the bag. There is a color code for each fabric, from red (-expensive) to purple (+ expensive) there are many more purple-coded fabrics and the fabrics with the red code are not beautiful, so no one takes them: this which requires you to pay extra at the end of the workshop because you have exceeded the initial budget of €145. Some fabrics are dirty or even in insufficient quantity, which does not allow you to completely give free rein to your imagination. We were so fed up with not finding a happy medium between an inexpensive fabric and a fabric we liked that we were going to leave. You do the workshop with a lot of foreign clients (mostly American, so workshop in English) who also mostly don't care about paying exorbitant sums at the end of the workshop for their bag. So be careful because at the time of payment, the price rises very quickly and this can create frustration (there is even a woman with us at the workshop who seems not to have paid for her bag and left without it) . In terms of entertainment, it depends on who you come across. We were with a young woman who unfortunately was not very pleasant, when I told her that my patterns were not cut well, which could have repercussions on the straightness of the fabric, she told me that it was not nevermind. But if it’s serious, we pay for this workshop and it’s important that everything is perfect. When, with insistence, she gave me a second pattern, the lines were still not straight and indicated that it was the trainee who cut the strips. Then she crudely handed me 2 boxes without explaining to me what I should do with them... in short, I'll stop there because it's not constructive. Fortunately, the 3 tailors were particularly attentive and extremely kind, Alex did everything to make my bag as perfect as possible, Boubacar and also the other gentleman whose first name I unfortunately forgot were truly wonderful . One even told my mother that there was nothing more beautiful for him than seeing the women leave with a smile from ear to ear when their creation was finished. It remains an enriching experience because now I know how to pack a bag, but I won't go back.

Not what we expected - Too many people in the workshop. Not enough instructors. Fabric was very disorganized. We thought it would be max 3 hours. Took 5 hours to do the workshop. Was never offered any food or drink. Messed up the colors on my purse, my friends purse didn’t have the right fabric and my other friends purse won’t close. I wouldn’t recommend this.

MORE EXPENSIVE + LONGER THAN YOU THINK - Ok so yes this is a fun idea and you can make a cute purse . HOWEVER we had a few things that made our experience not great. First off , note that you pay for the class but only get 145 euro credit , you have to pay the extra. I’m not sure you can make a purse with that credit… they charge for everything! Our group spent an extra 200-350 euro on top of their credit. So kindof a lot. Second they should NOT sell more than 5-7 slots as they only have a few workers who can sew. The class was supposed to be from 2-5 , we didn’t leave until 7:30pm. They have to sew all the bags so unfortunately our group was last and they took an extremely long time - some of our group missed their dinner reservation. The staff did not seem to care. They need to either bring more workers to sew (1-2 per person) or severely limit the group size or inform us before we showed up. We were completely shocked and upset we were there for over 6 HOURS! A few recommendations for the business ; 1. Pre cut the panels for us. You know the standard time - this would make this quicker 2. Stagger the group so not everyone is waiting on a seamstress - some waited 2 hours for their turn!! Maybe start part of the group at 2, then the next at 3 3. Make the class size smaller - or you need to put that this class goes 5-6 hours NOT 3 4. Have more hand sew - ers on site . There was only 1 call putting on all the buttons , patches , ect which took forever !!! Honestly this workshop truly gave us a headache it was horrible how long we were there.

Do not go!!!! Save your money and purchase a luxury bag instead!!! - I would not recommend Mini Me while you are in Paris. First, there were 12 of us to one single instructor trying to teach all of us how to make these bags. This instructor was also not very kind nor helpful and we had to constantly ask her what we should do or where we should find certain objects, rather than being guided through the experience. Additionally, it takes much longer than 3 hours, we ended up leaving around 1:20 pm after arriving at 9:00am. This was fairly frustrating as we had other plans that we had to reschedule. Finally, the experience was extremely expensive. Everyone that was in the class with us did not leave without spending an additional $150 on their bags -- with some people spending an additional 300 on their creations-- because the instructions were very unclear and the materials were not properly labeled. We ended up spending around $320 per bag after thinking the deposit would be close to enough to cover our creations. We did not have a great experience as it was more expensive than we were anticipating in addition to the fact that the staff was not helpful nor kind.
