The Avenue of Champagne is a popular tourist attraction.
  13:30: Depart for Hautvillers village, a 10-minute drive (6 km).
• Abbaye Saint-Pierre d’Hautvillers - 13:40 - 14:10 Visit the Church of Saint-Sindulphe at the Abbey Saint-Pierre d’Hautvillers, a former Benedictine monastery founded in 665 and active until the French Revolution in 1789. Dom Perignon developed winemaking methods in the Champagne region here. Today, 26 local Champagne producers reside in the village. Stop at the viewpoint for panoramic views over the vineyards and Marne river.
