We’ll journey on foot and by metro through the captivating districts of Paris, witnessing time-honored landmarks and secret treasures. The tour incorporates 40 distinguished points of interest in Paris, such as renowned monuments like the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triumphe, Notre Dame, Pantheon, and Louvre.
We’ll engage you with intriguing tales and introduce you to our preferred haunts for classic Parisian delicacies (including our top-choice crepe stop!) This is the ideal excursion if you’re new to the city: it will help you orient yourself, view the iconic sites, uncover the city’s riveting history, and have a great time while doing it.
- There is quite a bit of walking on this tour, you will get your steps up for the day! Please wear comfortable shoes
- While the tour is accessible with strollers, please be aware that we get the metro several times during the tour and the stations have stairs only (no elevators/lifts).
- Not recommended for people with limited mobility

Great Overview of Touristy and Non-Touristy Paris. - Johann was a terrific guide. The other family that was scheduled had a flight delay so my husband and I had a private tour- yay! We really felt like we got the best parts of Paris on our tour. For the most part we were learning about the history and walking by and taking pictures as we went. We covered a lot of ground and for us where we only had a day to tour it was a great choice to do this tour. Johann was very pleasant to spend the day with and we’d highly recommend this tour.

Our favorite tour of the trip! - This tour was one of our top experiences in Paris! Johann was a fantastic guide and we enjoyed his insights and anecdotes. Our kids, 8 and 11, also loved the tour and he included them so well. I highly recommend this tour! Thanks again.

Wonderful guide - Luciana was an excellent guide. The only improvement I could suggest in this tour is for the hosts to offer some method for guests to be able to hear her better over the din of Paris streets (specifically, something like the QuietVox devices we've had on excursions on river cruises). Mostly, though, my thanks to Luciana for her response when my visit to Paris was marred by a personal "incident" on the subway. I'd probably still be down in the subway tunnels if it hadn't been for her! She really cared.

A great start in Paris - Had a little trouble locating the tour starting point. A call to the office got immediate help to resolve the problem. Our guide Johann Silva was extremely knowledgeable and gave an excellent tour to start our first visit and first day in Paris. I would highly recommend anyone not familiar with the city to start their visit with this tour. He also provided us with a long list of recommendations as to places to visit and dine at the end of the tour. The information was personalized and invaluable. Both me and my wife enjoyed his friendliness and professionalism and could not ask for a better start for our visit in Paris. Johann put us to a great start for our vacation and first visit to Paris and we could not asked for more.

What a great introduction to Paris - What a great introduction to Paris. Claire was an expert in giving us the background on so many attractions and historical sites. She was a lot of fun and incredibly knowledgeable. I’d highly recommend doing this tour at the start of your stay in Paris…then you can go and explore some of the attractions in depth on your own later.
