This tour takes participants to the island’s most pristine region, the Akamas Peninsula. Its rugged terrain and status as a protected national park mean there are no paved roads through its core. The coastline is marked by gulfs, coves, capes, points, beaches, and small isles. In the south, the tour includes a walk through a gorge, a visit to the Green Turtle’s hatchery, and a swim in the crystal-clear waters. To the north, visitors can explore the Mythological Baths of Aphrodite. In between, the tour navigates the “lesser-traveled” back roads, visiting nearby villages, meeting local residents, and enjoying local cuisine. This is a full-day excursion, and comfortable shoes are recommended. Remember to bring swimwear.
The tour can be customized to include other activities such as wine tasting or visits to villages and nearby historical sites.
