Soulful trek - The last two days were hectic in enjoying the treks in and around Rishikesh and Pantwari in Uttarakhand. As a beginner and at 60 years of age, it was tough for me to do these treks but I enjoyed it as a challenge and tested my lungs and heart functioning to the max limit. I travelled this trip solo but met a few very young guys from Delhi/Ghaziabad who were part of the trekking group. These guys were awesome and full of energy. I chose Himalayan Shelter as my tour guide and Bachan Rana was very helpful in arranging everything and he is very experienced in this business and as an accomplished trekker . I believe trekking/hiking gives you soul satisfaction and one of the best ways to make new friends. Overall the Rishikesh trip added a new perspective on how to lead a single life and deal with physical challenges.

Difficult but rewarding! - This was one of the hardest and most rewarding treks we have done. The most spectacular part was our evening up in the Himalayas where we got to take in the surroundings. It was so tranquil and beautiful and a wonderful juxtaposition to the chaos of city traveling. The air was so clean and made the experience all the much better. Harsh, our guide, was excellent and we enjoyed the conversations around the campfire and his thoughtfulness in how he catered the trek to our needs. He genuinely cares about the environment and has a lot of respect for the natural beauty that India has to offer. We were quite surprised by the trek category as beginner friendly and easy since this was 6.5 miles up and then a difficult downhill hike. The difficulty is all relative since there are many more technical treks in the Himalayas that require ice picking and rappelling. This wasn’t technical in those ways. The communication was seamless, the accommodations were above par, and the food service was simple and satisfying. Would recommend protein/energy bars to supplement and maybe a blow-up camping mattress if you are a delicate sleeper. All in all, Himalayan Shelter is one of the best trekking companies we’ve hiked with and would definitely recommend a trip with them!

Best First Trek Ever – Nag Tibba! - I did the Nag Tibba trek with my friend, and it was my first trek ever — honestly, it was amazing! The whole experience was just perfect. The views were beautiful, the vibe was great, and I had so much fun throughout.
The food was super tasty (way better than I expected on a trek 😄), and the base camp was really nice and comfortable. Our trek leader was awesome — super friendly, helpful, and made sure everyone was doing okay.
Overall, it was such a great experience, and I’d totally recommend it to anyone thinking about doing their first trek! Can’t wait to go on my next one! 🏔️✨

Best Trek with best Trek leader - One of the most amazing trek experience. Our trek leader Abhishek made sure we are good and kept us motivating throughout the trek of Nag Tibba. I would not call it a easy trek however his motivation helped us get through the whole trek with smiling faces. The food was homely and the stay at the camp was even more blissful. He took care of the aesthetics by putting fairy lights for us and the born fire. Really appreciate all his efforts. Allover an amazing experience Thank you!!!

Wonderful days on Nag Tibba with Mukesh - My mother and I experienced some of our most wonderful days in India on the Himalayas with Himalayan Shelter. The trip was from the beginning well coordinated and the team were communicative. We had one change of plans as the taxi was not allowed to pick us up at the hotel, yet even then the team stepped in and took care of guiding the guide to the right location. If you book with Himalayan Shelter, please ask for Mukesh as your guide, he is friendly, supportive, and a great guy to spend time with on the mountains which he knows like his back pocket.

Nagtibba Trek, Excellent Experience - I went to Nagtibba trek in September The weather was excellent, not very hot and not very cold. We reached Pantwari at around 11 am, we had our lunch at the meeting point and started our trek to reach base camp at around 12.30 pm The ways is amazing, scenic and very beautiful but also the terrain is rocky at some places and also steep. So first timers may find it difficult and exhaustive. There are food joints in the way where you can get Maggi, chocolates, lime water, etc. The guide "Ramesh" ji was highly enthusiastic and motivated everyone in his own unique way. He was very friendly and very supportive. We reached the base camp at around 5.30 pm and were treated with tea and light snacks. Toilet facility is good and enough to accomodate every group member. The tents were cozy and had enough space. Although we saw the sunset, I personally found it to be average but the moonrise during the night time was excellent and mesmerizing. The trek to Nagtibba summit started next morning at 3 am. We reached to the temple at around 6 am, from there the summit is 1km away. We saw the Kedarkantha ranges from the top which was an out of the world experience . The trip was very memorable for me and my friends, three days after the trek and we want to visit Nagtibba again. The trek was also a good and learning experience and the support team of Thrillophilia was very helpful and supportive. Looking forward for more trekking trips with Thrillophilia. Will definitely recommend my friends for this trip.

Really nice trek, with everything dialed and a great guide ! - Great experience, the guide was really nice and caring, we really had a good time.
We got picked up at in Dehra Dun, and after a few hours of travelling in the bus through the road with amazing view, we started the trek.
Sleeping in the tent was nice. They were already prepared and everything, we slept well.
The next day we went to the top. Unfortunately it was cloudy so we couldn't see the perfect view, but the way up was really nive and suprising, with monkeys, cows and nice flowers. Our guide Aadarsh is a nice photographer by the way !
We definitely felt tired at the end of the trek but it wasn't too hard.
The best part of the experience was the guide for sure. He was so joyful and open to discussion, speaking english very well. We really had fun with him, in the evening also.

Great experience up Nag Tibba - Really great. Our guide Mukesh Rana was fantastic and made the trek a memorable experience. The food was significantly better than we anticipated (given it's made fresh up a mountain) and the tent accommodation was simple but comfortable. The scenery was breathtaking.
