Great tour with breathtaking views - We had a great tour of the island with Safari4u Our guide was very knowledgeable We got to drive our own jeep. We also had the option of being driven. Guide took photos along the way that are emailed to us after The stops where amazing. We stopped at a little village of 30 residence Got some snacks and seen the school and church. The gorges and mountains where breathtaking. We stopped for lunch by the sea and had a 3 course meal And also an hour on the beach to relax and swim. A great day out from 8.45am to 5.30pm My advice take plenty of sunscreen with you and apply regularly as the heat and sun baking down on you without noticing could leave you with terrible burns.

Giannis is awesome! - Me and my best friend decided to do this trip and it was the best decision we made! We had a fantastic time! Giannis was our guide/driver and he was absolutely brilliant! We love him!! He made the trip so much fun, we laughed the whole day and met some amazing people! This trip is a must so you can see how beautiful the island really is. Definitely worth doing! - Did the safari recently with my husband which started at 8.45 with pick up from hotel and we arrived back around 5.30, It was a small team of 2 jeeps. We drove our own jeep and seeing as we both brought our licences we both could take turns driving. The trip itself was amazing, the views was beautiful and the places we stopped were amazing. The roads consisted of normal main roads and also back roads so some variation. Lunch was included 3 course meal at a little beach which couldn't be faulted and we were giving time to swim or lay on beach for awhile too. Evan our guide was brilliant and knowledgeable about anything we asked! Really enjoyed the day and was a great way of seeing Crete away from the tourist spots it is worth doing! As an additional bonus Evan took pictures of us at different locations which will be brilliant to have.

A best Safari4U ever - It was an unforgettable day, very well organized, with very friendly people. The food was delicious. A day to remember forever. Crete is beautiful and this Safari4U experience provides wonderful views. Well worth it.

Natural wonders of the Cretan interior, a 4x4 safari, traditional village visit, Cretan meal, shopping and beach trip. - An excellent and fun day out with the family (2 adults + 2 kids age 9,10) and a friendly guide who encouraged conversation with the whole group. We were picked up from our hotel (Royal Blue) in a Mercedes people carrier and transported to the Safari4U vehicle compound to join a convoy of 7 Suzuki Jimmy jeeps. I chose to drive, but options are also available to have a driver. The convoy set off, and initially we took some semi off road tracks via Nikiforos Fokas into the Cretan interior. Nothing too strenuous driving wise, and we passed olive groves, small vineyards and herds of goats and took a stop to see the views. We then drove on to the the village of Kato Malakio which included seeing an old traditional home from the Venetian period, the old school building, and the ornate Orthodox Church. The stop also include a stop for a traditional Cretan snack. We then drove further into the interior through one of the gorges and onto the the idyllic beach in Rethymno, where we had a swim before sitting down for a traditional Cretan meal at a taverns. There was then a short shopping trip into Plakias, where I took took the boys for a Greek coffee, whilst my wife went to buy some Christmas decorations. After that we headed back via the Kourtaliotiko gorge where we stopped to take in the views and see the eagles. Finally we headed back to the vehicle compound before being dropped back at our hotel.

A grand day out - Fantastic day out. Far more interactive that the ubiquitous coach trips. If you have your driving licence and fancy driving then that’s possible - which made the whole trip so much more engaging ( they do have drivers if you just want to sit back and enjoy the scenery ) Lovely stop at a beautiful beach - nearby changing facilities if you want to take a dip or paddle in the Libyan sea. Good lunch included as well

Great safari/great guide - Our guide, Dionesis, was great. He was very knowledgeable and very friendly. We stopped off at some fabulous sites for photo opportunities and a lovely restaurant for fab food…all included included in price! I would definitely recommend. Small group, always a winner.

Amazing tour with great people - Me and my mom went on the Safari4you Tour today and it was amazing. The tour guides were very friendly and funny and the tour was interesting. We stopped a lot of times to take pictures and look at the pretty view. We didn't have to drive ourselves and the people we shared the car with were really nice too. The food that is included in the tour was tasty. The beach you visit is beautiful with clear water. All in all it was a great experience I'd recommend to anyone that wants to see a more authentic side of crete than one usually does when visiting the 'tourist places' on the island.

Absolutely a must do! - This tour was incredible, everyone was great, the views are the best. I highly recommend this tour, my teenagers loved it, and we loved it. beaches were beautiful, the small villages were perfect, and did I mention the views.

Amazing hosts, landscapes and such a positive energy - This experience is 10/10. Eleni picked us up in the morning outside of our hotel and she immediately had “the best vibe”, positive and fun. In a few minutes, we met with the other hosts and guests. Julie was our guide and also drove the car ( as we mostly drive automatic cars and they were mostly manual ) That girl is amazing. She was fun, positive and one of the kindest people you can meet. All the staff is very positive and easy going. They even prepared a candle desert for one of the guests that had his birthday. Even if you are not much of a tour guide person ( such as me ), this you will enjoy. You have all the space you need. During the trip, you get to visit some great places and drive through some amazing landscapes. Whether you are a group of friends, couple or solo traveller, this experience is beautiful. Thank you very much to all the staff and especially to Julie. You made our day
