10/10 - Dan was incredible! Had such amazing information about the history of Panama and all of the different areas we drove through. We saw monkeys and alligators and it was incredible!

Perfect combo of canal tour and history and boat ride in the rainforest! - This trip was exactly what we wanted! They accommodated our pick-up at the Gamboa Rainforest Reserve. Our tour guide was very informative, knowledgeable and personable. He led us through the hectic nature of the visitor center, ensuring we saw ships passing through the canal, explaining all the while about how the canals work. He talked about the history and answered our many questions on the bus ride and boat tour. We were able to see a number of species of animals, birds and plants while we were on the boat ride, getting a nature, culture and history tour. it hit the spot on exactly the trip we wanted!

Informative, fun, approachable - Dan was a great tour guide. Full of information and charm. The canal portion of the tour was interesting, and the ecotour was so much fun.

Well worth the visit… - Excellent tour to the Panama Canal combined with a visit to Monkey Island. The canal was very interesting, watching a variety of boats enter the locks on their way to the Caribbean. We saw two naval training schooners (Chilean and Ecuadorean) as well as an enormous cargo ship. The iMax film about the history of the canal was both interesting and informative. The boat trip to Monkey Island resulted in sightings of various wildlife animals - Crocs, Capucine Monkeys (very friendly and gentle, not to mention hungry), Howler Monkeys and Geoffrey Tamarinds. Our guide, Dan, was very professional and really made the trip interesting.

Worth every penny - Amazing tour! Dan was our host. He was EXCELLENT!!! Knowledgeable, friendly, enthusiastic. He seemed excited to share this experience with us even though he has probably done it a million times. We saw a few monkeys on Lake Gatun. Mostly it was just beautiful to be out there. I highly recommend this tour for the canal experience, the movie they show teaching about how the canal was dredged and all the other details. It is definitely one of the seven wonders of the world. You won't be sorry for having taken this tour.

What a great experience! - What an amazing day! Luis our guide was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Seeing the Panama Canal in person is something I will never forget. The boat ride at Gatun Lake was incredible. We saw shipping containers passing by and seeing birds and the monkeys was awesome too.

Life - changing!!! - This was the most incredible experience ever! Truly a beautiful time spent from start to finish and huge props to our tour guide, Dan, who was absolutely amazing. He was extremely informative, thoughtful and so kind throughout the entire tour. This excursion is 100% worth it and recommend making this a priority when in Panama. You’ll feed monkeys, see alligators and bats too!
