Highlights
- Panama City - This tour begins with hotel pickups starting at 6:45am. I know it sounds crazy to get up so early on your vacation, but you will thank me for it later. Starting this early we can beat the crowds and see more wildlife in cooler temperatures.

- Due to heavy traffic, no free pickup from hotels located near Amador Causeway, Clayton (City of Knowledge) Playa Bonita. Separate transportation for the an extra charge
- Playa Blanca, or Rio Hato, Metromall, Arraijan or Tocumen Airport need to arrange own transportation
- This is not a TRANSIT tour, we wont travel by boat inside the locks.
Additional Information
Partake in this distinct adventure across the Panama Canal, stretching from the Pacific to the Atlantic Ocean, savouring the canal’s beauty both on water and land. You’ll embark on a thrilling boat journey down the canal, acquainting you with the traversing vessels and rich wildlife along the canal banks, before dropping by the historic Fort San Lorenzo and the newly-constructed Agua Clara Locks.
This tour does not include TRANSIT, meaning we won’t be cruising inside the locks via boat.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Please advise any specific dietary requirements at time of booking
- The tour starts in a very remote area and there will be no access to public restrooms around 9am
- Vegetarian and vegan option is available, please advise at time of booking if required
- A minimum of 2 people per booking is required.
- Minimum age is 3 years
- If you will be staying at a hotel area that is not on the list, please contact your local operator prior to booking your tour
- This tour is in ENGLISH only, we cannot run the tour in 2 languages without the tour quality being compromised.

Canal tour - Our tour guide John, made this trip what it was, lots of information, amazing sites, it was a hot day, we were given lots of water, the meal was delicious. There was lots of time at each stop to take in all that it offered, never any pressure to rush

Most historical based... - Most historical based tour that I ever been on. Guide Pauola was extremely knowledgeable and had good energy. Alexis was also a great driver. They make a wonderful team.

Perfect blend of adventure, culture, and convenience - We spent a ton of time comparing the different rainforest excursion options we could find and can honestly say we couldn't be happier to have chosen this one. Our guide Mike was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and topped it off with a great sense of humor.
All the little details on transportation etc get sent out the day before.
We got to see an awesome blend of nature and history and everything was well organized. The Agua Clara locks were DEFINITELY the right choice for canal viewing. Also, as an additional bonus, we really felt Mike did a great job not only giving a great tour but also taking proper care of the wildlife and the local restaurants and people who helped him put on the event.
100/10 would recommend, this is the tour if you want to get the most out of your Panama visit.

The best full day tour! - John was an incredible guide. We enjoyed the best of everything from the informative details while riding between locations, to the boat ride where we saw crocodiles, two different species of monkeys, turtles, iguanas and even some bats! The lock at Agua Clara was very interesting and the lunch provided at the Castillo was delicious. We even got to see a coati while eating lunch! The fortress was very interesting and even though the day was incredibly hot, John provided umbrellas to shield us from the sun. The entire experience is something that I would highly recommend for anyone visiting Panama. The tour had everything and was worth every penny!

EXCELLENT TOUR AND GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY - An excellent tour. Our guide, Paula, was incredibly knowledgable, friendly and patient. The tour is packed with information and activities, but never felt rushed. You can tell that they’re very experienced by the care they take in some of the details: we got umbrellas at the fort to shield us from the sun, cold water bottles were always available, etc. Absolutely recommended and GREAT value for money.
