- Church of Saint Joseph - Modest 1670s church framed for its lustrous golden altar, carved of wood & painted in gold flake.
- Church of the Society of Jesus - The ruins of the Jesuit temple and convent. The building burned in 1781 and an earthquake in 1882 affected it even more.
- Convento de Santo Domingo - Old convent of Santo Domingo, where we can find the famous Flat Arch, which supported the choir of that church. It stood for over 300 years until it collapsed a few years ago and underwent restoration work.
