Immerse yourself in the local gastronomy and beverages while also gaining insights into the cultural backdrop. This culinary excursion takes you on a journey to savor authentic local dishes and a tavern visit, featuring a stop at a renowned spot for Ceviche that’s off the beaten path of touristy fish markets. At a neighborhood pub, we’ll imbibe in true local fashion and share a communal plate of pub grub. En route to these destinations, I often detour for quick tastes of other delicacies (I’m particularly fond of a distinctive pastry from Las Tablas and Chinese food with a Panamanian twist). We’ll observe the local food shopping habits along the way and then venture into Casco Viejo for a duo of beer tastings at upscale local bars. The first will be a beer sampling, followed by a tasting that includes a half-pint to conclude the tour. Come ready to indulge in a substantial amount of food and drink! The cost of the tour includes all the food and beverages.

- Beer Sampling - Enjoy a beer sampling at my favorite bar for the beer, not the volume of the music!
- Beer Sampling and a Half-pint - Enjoy tasting the full line-up of the first craft brewery in Panama City and then order a half-pint for a toast to a wonderful tour.

Great tour - Jon was and excelllent tour guide. He mixed in a lot of history wi the the food tour which made it that much more entertaining. Got to try some local faves including chocolate and ice cream toward the end 😋

So interesting (food and location wise) - Was way more interesting than I expected and took me places and restaurants and parts of town I wouldn't have gone on my own. Totally recommend this tour

Take a shortcut to the best places in town! - Jon is an incredibly knowledgeable and friendly foodie and guide, we were very lucky to have him show us around town! Panamá City has a very diverse food scene, and Jon knows all the good places like the back of his hand. Thanks Jon!

LOVED IT - I'm soo happy we booked this authentic food tour with Jon. It was an amazing experience and we got so many different impressions about Panamas food life. Jon showed us the whole range from local and very affordable snacks and drinks to high class and pricy options. I feel like we have seen the whole variety Panama has to offer.
Jon is super sympathetic and knows Panama city like a local. We enjoyed the evening a lot with him and we can recommend his tour to everyone!
