Great trip, very well... - Great trip, very well organized. Lunch was excellent and the guide knowledgeable, we did not realize that we would not be returning on the boat, but on a bus but everything was very well coordinated and worked out well 😁!

A Worthwhile Experience! - While the weather was rather hot, it was worth the heat. There was a little rain but nothing that hindered enjoyment of the trip. If you get a chance, definitely take the tour!

Gus was amazing! - This tour was absolutely worth the money. Our tour guide, Gus, had so much interesting information for us as we navigated the locks. He also answered all of the questions asked of him during his explanations which was a bonus! The lunch was good as well. We made it through our portion of the canal in great time. The only issue we had (which was not really an issue but could have been) was the driver who transported us from our hotel to the tour was an hour early. We were walking back from breakfast and if it had taken longer we would’ve missed the ride. They only wait for 5 minutes then go on to the next stop.

We had a great and... - We had a great and Informative boat tour through the canal. The only thing is we would have like a little more historical context about the canal while on the bus ride to the boat. The food was tasty and the staff was really friendly.

Great tour and great way to see the canal - Starts very early but worth it. Great tour and a very unique perspective of the workings of the canal. Great guide and very informative and answered all questions we had.

Overall a pleasant experience. - Early pick up was on time (good communication). Needed a little more instruction to board and off-board. The guide who gave the voice over on the cruise (Monty?) was great!!! Got a lot of information as we traveled. Good transportation, nice little lunch, free water/Cokes/Sprite, fairly nice bathroom on board. Overall a pleasant experience.

Panama Canal boat tour - Seeing how the locks work is fascinating. Despite some people complaining in past reviews of trouble taking photos due to number of people. I did not find that a problem and the lunch was definitely sufficient. What I did find a problem was all the waiting. Not just at the locks but on the bus. Picked up at 9:30 (last property pickup). Got to boat by 11;15, then sat on boat before it took off without any explanation for another 45 minutes. I met one lady who had been on the boat since 9:30 that am.

worthwhile historical trip - It is a well worthwhile historical trip to visit the canal. The guide in the shuttle to the canal provided us with lots of good information. The guide on-board talked non-stop and the volume was too high. I'm glad I was there.

Worth a visit - The tour is well organized. It starts at 7 a.m. and goes until noon. They offer a small breakfast and lunch, plus drinks such as water and coffee. The guide speaks Spanish and English.

Good boat trip but the tour operator is deceitful - The boat tour itself was great. The problems started after we docked. The tour specifically says it includes entry to the Miraflores visitor center. The tour company admitted that the booking said it included the visitor center but they said it was a mistake. They refused to take us and refused to refund the cost on the entry ticket. Viator was equally as useless as they too admitted that it said it was included but they too refused to refund the cost. I have had good experiences with many other Viator tour excursions but they fumbled the ball on this one.
