Big Blue Diving - Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be able to breathe underwater? If you would like to try scuba diving but are not yet ready for a full course that ends with a “Brevet” (i.e. a diver’s license), Discover Scuba Diving (often referred to as “taster diving”) is for you. Big Blue Diving Mallorca also offers this program from the beach. Discover Scuba Diving is not a “Brevet” diving course, but a quick and easy introduction to the underwater world, where you dive with a scuba diving equipment. To enroll in this Discover Scuba Diving program, you must be at least 10 years old. You do not need to have any previous diving experience, but you must be in good health.
Also swimming skills are an advantage !
The program starts every day at 10.30 am and at 3 pm.
About 1 hour of the program is theory and preparation, the other hour is spent in the water. First we train some techniques in shallow water. At the end we will have a dive along the coast.

- After participation, do not fly for at least 12 hours afterwards

Wonderful - Owner manager and instructors impeccable service.
Three first timers 8, 13 and 44 and it was a great experience.
Breathing under water took some time to get used to and tools to inflate and deflate not sure I inflated properly.
Wonderful adventure.
Staying calm and trusting the equipment is key.

Perfect! - All employees are very competent, patient and friendly. Safe diving and good equipment are very important. Great dive sites! I did a refresher course and a total of 4 boat dives and I really enjoyed it! Would go back to Big Blue Diving straight away :)

Amazing diving - We had a great diving experience with our instructor Ursula - I would absolutely recommend, even for nervous/first time divers. I only wish we had time to do it again! We saw plenty of fish and the water wasn't cold at all which was quite unexpected!

Experience of a lifetime - Don't hold back. If Adrian and Mathias can teach me to scuba dive, a 70 year-old man, they can teach you, too. They made it safe, easy, and fun. It was absolutely unforgettable.

First diving experience - My daughter had a lovely diving experience with the lovely Stefan, she was nervous at the start but really enjoyed it when she got started and Stefan was very patient with her, can wait to go back in 2 years

A brilliant afternoon under the water! - We had 2 fabulous dives with Sebastian during our recent stay in Magaluf. The online booking was simple and easy to use. All the staff were so friendly & helpful and explained everything that was involved and required for our dives.
We will definitely be back on our next trip to Mallorca.

First scuba diving for kids - My two boys went for the first experience with scuba diving. They had a thorough instruction, were given all the correct equipment and were taken for their first dive with a great instructor. They had a great time and look forward to doing it again!

Great first time dive, but not much else - Tim was great, very helpful and attentive. The dive was good but very beginner level. If you want to try scuba diving for the first time in a safe cove, this is perfect, but do not expect to see much aside from a school of fish, sea cucumbers, and maybe a tiny octopus if you're lucky. This seems to be more for testing out diving rather than an epic reef excursion.
