  • Porto Cristo - The name Port de Manacor/Porto Cristo, meaning “The Port of Manacor/The Port of Christ” given to it back in 1260 AD at the time of the Christian invasion of Mallorca, A fishing boat was found washed up on the beach containing a crucifix. Legend has it that an ox was carrying an icon of God through the town, and the ox stopped and refused to walk anymore. Additional Information

Mallorca’s most prized jewels include its caves, pearls, and beaches. The Drach and Hams Caves are some of the island’s most impressive subterranean attractions, offering an unparalleled natural spectacle.

The Drach Caves are among the most frequently visited caves in Europe and have been compared to the 8th Wonder of the World by many. Lake Martel, one of the world’s biggest subterranean lakes, regularly hosts classical music performances. The interior temperature remains consistent throughout the year, around 21 degrees Celsius. We advise visitors to wear comfortable footwear during the tour.

Expect your travel within the caves to approximately take an hour.

The cost of entry is covered by the tour price.

For over a century, Majorica has manufactured top-notch pearls. The company’s organic pearls have gained international fame and are virtually indistinguishable from their natural counterparts. A trip to the factory shop leaves you with the perfect chance to treat yourself or your loved ones to a unique, original gift.

Magical - Pre book tickets! We didn’t and just rocked up to see it was sold out. Luckily we weren’t too far away. It is claustrophobic, busy and a bit stressful especially with young children, but it’s such a great atmosphere and so beautiful. Lots of steps and quite steep, so need to be very careful. The Musicians on the boat was the cherry on the cake, really magical, and something you will never forget. Be warned, as soon as the lights are on, there is a stampede to the boats, I anticipated this and sat as near to the lake as possible on the end. I pre warned my partner so he could grab our daughter. The folk who sat up high stood no chance without waiting a good 30 mins. We were on the 2nd boat, and even then a non British tourist literally attempted to push in front of me as I was boarding to sit at the front of it! Thankfully the wonderful man who was helping people on, told the man to get back, and wait his turn, rightfully so. A lovely experience, just don’t let others spoil it.

Super - Well organised, on time. Nice trip. Friendly staff. First visited Majorica where you could buy something nice, everything with pearls. The caves were beautiful and well organised.

Beautiful - Despite the crowds for this period, a pleasant visit, there is a very beautiful decor and we loved the classical music concert on the water

DRACH AND HAMS CAVES: NATURE'S GIFT - On our recently completed visit to Mallorca, we had the opportunity to visit the DRACH Caves and the DELS HAM. Both visits are a gift for the senses. I couldn't compare them with each other. Personally, I like the first ones better, but in our group there was a diversity of opinions. Yes, there is more experience and investment in those of DRACH. My recommendation is to see both

No explanation about attraction,no on time - I booked a half day tour. They told me I should be ready in front of the hotel at 9:00 am and I was ready on time, but they came late at 9:40 am. Also, our tour guide did not eslxplain any thing about the cave. They gathered all 4 language passengers on a bus and just the guide told some sentences about the attraction after finishing the visit. In comparison with price, I was not satisfied with this tour. Why more than 50 $? For what ? Only the bus and ticket of cave ?

Well organised but not for large groups. - The caves were beautiful, and the bus was very spacious, comfortable and clean. The bus was also able to pick us up right by our hotel which was a bonus. I only give three stars because of the value of the trip and the timing. The cost of the trip includes the entrance fee to the caves. However, as we are a large group, it would have been roughly the same price to simply take a taxi to the caves and buy tickets for the caves ourselves. The stop at the pearl shop was not worth it and overall, did not need to take 4+ hours.

Nice but rather short - Nice trip. The classical music within the cave is a real treat but short. Same for the boat ride. If you can drive up to the cave, there’s free parking and saves a lot on a bus ride.

Claustrophobic - This tour should come with a trigger warning for claustrophobia. Too many people packed densely into a small space. Then they turn off all the lights and yell at people to stop using their phones. I could not get out of there fast enough.
