Introduction to the Heart of Palermo - This was an amazing walking tour with Mauro! He was very knowledgeable with a gracious and leisurely manner of presentation as we strolled through the Palermo historic highlights. We loved his personal insights. We even stopped to have a coffee at a friend’s shop, and afterwards also got fresh Cannoli at the coveted cloister of Chiesa di Santa Caterina where we ended our tour. This was the perfect way to be introduced to Palermo!

Morning walk with Marcella! - Marcella confirmed pickup the night before by WhatsApp and was right on time. She was friendly and knowledgeable throughout our time together and went out of her way to customize the walk to focus on things of interest to us. Her restaurant recs and the additional museum she suggested we do on our own were all spot on! I would recommend her without any doubt. Friendly, funny, and smart. Perfect introduction to our time in Sicily.

Amazing tour of Palermo with rich historical context! - Mauro was an amazing tour guide with an excellent command of history. We felt that he made the most of our three hour tour by focusing on the most interesting aspects of Palermo. He was enthusiastic , fun to be around , responsive to our questions, and overall it was an excellent introduction to the city. Highly recommend.

See Palermo’s secrets in a gentle stroll with a friend - Our tour of Palermo with Mauro was just what we asked and hoped for - very personal, informative, flexible and good fun. It was like strolling around the town with an old friend who loves his home town and happily shares all he knows about its history and modern daily life. We saw things we would never er have discovered ourselves and got very good recommendations on things to do, places to visit and restaurants to sample local cuisine. Palermo History Walking with Mauro - Mauro was amazing. Gave us the history of today’s Palermo and its revitalization since WWII. Awesome story. His deep knowledge of history along with his in-depth knowledge of Catholicism brought meaning to the many artifact, sculptures and paintings he showed us. He truly loves this city and all it has to offer. He also gave us a very good dinner reference and some advice for tomorrow’s adventure out of the city. A+++

An alternative day to Palermo - Mauro was an absolute legend - he showed me all the off track things that as tourist you would never be able to see. Charismatic personality with lots of insights on Sicilian life and history. Can only recommend!
