  • DMZ - Hotel Pickup in Seoul at 09:00 and Head to Paju for DMZ tour - The Demilitarized Zone(DMZ) is a weapons-free buffer zone between North and South Korea. The area was established on July 27, 1953 when the Armistice Agreement was signed during the Korean War, and includes the 2km-wide stretch of land both north and south of the line. Dorasan station, a railway station on the Gyeongui Line, is the northernmost stop on South Korea’s railway line. Located 56 km from Seoul and 205 km from Pyeongyang/Dora Observatory Situated in Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do and at the northernmost point of the Military Demarcation Line, Dora Observatory replaced the previous Songaksan Observation Post. From the observatory, visitors can overlook North Korea and various locations including Gaeseong, Songaksan, Kim Il-Sung Statue, and Cooperation Farm (Geumamgol)/The 3rd Tunnel was discovered in 1978 by South Korean forces. It is estimated that approximately 30,000 soldiers could move through the tunnel Unification Village

*Closed - Mondays & Public holidays (Excluding weekends, Seollal/Chuseok)

  • The Third Tunnel - Dangerous Tunnel dug by N.Korea after Korean War to invade S.Korea. Found at 1978
  • Gyeongbokgung Palace - Choose 1: Gyeongbokgung Palace

Built in 1395, Gyeongbokgung Palace is also commonly referred to as the Northern Palace because its location is furthest north when compared to the neighboring palaces of Changdeokgung (Eastern Palace) and Gyeonghuigung (Western Palace) Palace. Gyeongbokgung Palace is arguably the most beautiful, and remains the largest of all five palaces.

The premises were once destroyed by fire during the Imjin War (Japanese Invasions, 1592-1598). However, all of the palace buildings were later restored under the leadership of Heungseondaewongun during the reign of King Gojong (1852-1919).

Remarkably, the most representative edifices of the Joseon Dynasty, Gyeonghoeru Pavilion and Hyangwonjeong Pond have remained relatively intact. Woldae and the sculptures of Geunjeongjeon (The Royal Audience Chamber) represent past sculptures of contemporary art.

The National Palace Museum of Korea is located south of Heungnyemun Gate, and the National Folk Museum is located on the eastern side within Hyangwonjeong.

Well worth the money and super informative - Our guide, Harry, was amazing! He gave us a great history lesson on the drive to the DMZ and was super accommodating. He answered endless questions about Korean culture and history and helped ensure we had vegan food for us at the lunch location. We couldn't have had a better experience!

Private DMZ - Kim Soo was very knowledgeable and really helped understand the history of Korea. He suggested how to best navigate the process of entering the DMZ. And he was on time, efficient and very professional. I feel like we got more value by having Kim Soo as our guide.

Must Do Tour - What an amazing day! The only negative was not knowing what timed tickets we would get for the DMZ tour so it felt slightly disorganised however as we waited for our guide James to purchase the tickets we went on the Peace Gondola and enjoyed Imjingak Park. The suspension bridge visit felt slightly rushed but was worth it! The third tunnel was the highlight. I’d definately recommend even with 8+ yr old children

DMZ tour - The DMZ tour is definitely worth doing. Michael, our tour guide, was awesome! He is so knowledgeable and thus this tour was so educational for us. The hike through the forest and over the hanging bridge was scenic and beautiful, the Korean BBQ was tasty, but the highlight would be the monorail ride down deep inside the third tunnel as well as the view from the hilltop observatory. Thank you for a fantastic day Michael!

GR8 DMS and more Tour - Communication was very good setting up the tour. We were not in the area where the tour would start, so they arranged to get us picked up. James is super sharp and knows the history and locations very well. It was an enjoyable and educational tour. James was diligent in getting entrance arrangements and we got in early and on the monorail to the tunnel rather than the walk. It was a bit of luck, but sometimes you make good luck! The restaurant had a lot of locals eating there, so it was a really good choice.

A very informative tour and lunch is great! - Harry is an amazing guide. His narration during the trip is very informative. We have learned so much from him. And at lunch time, he took us to have bulgogi and it’s so good. Loved his recommendation on having pork BBQ and that was one of our favorite. We definitely recommend Harry’s trip. Thank you.
