Setting sail from Paihia beachfront at 5pm. The vessel arrives directly on the beach, allowing you to hop on board right from the seashore. Meet us at Paihia Beach, the boat anchors right on the shore line. You will see the Barefoot Sailing Adventures catamaran about half way along the beach, you will know you are in the right place, you will see it as soon as you get to the beach.

A must do!! - A must do! We loved it! Just wonderful cruising around the bay! Even saw dolphins. Luke was our amazing Captain 🧑‍✈️ and he was very friendly, very informative and knew his sailing!

Great way to wind down - Perfect way to wind down after a long day. Luke was a great host and did a great job. He allowed a couple of passengers to drive which was fun! He was comfortable chatting or just letting you chill and enjoy the ride.

Great wind down to a busy day. - Luke was a gracious host, kind and friendly. He was more than happy to chat and share info about himself and the area or just let you chill out in the beanbag in peace. It was a beautiful evening, plenty of wind, and a great sail.

So worth it! - Omg! Luke was fantastic, beautiful weather, beautiful location. Worth every cent. We paid for 6 people even tho we were only 4, so we could have the catamaran to ourselves. He took us to a nice spot to jump off into the ocean for a quick swim and taught us so much and was very entertaining. Our friend left her purse on the cat and he rang and delivered it to her!

A must do. - Could not rate this highly enough. The perfect way to relax and start our trip. Luke was incredible - never felt rushed, felt safe the whole time. Communication was outstanding, This is the number one thing on my list to do next time I am up this way. Everyone from aged 9 to 81 years loved it!

I had a wonderful time thank you Rachel and Luke. - I enjoyed it very much. I did have to change curise trips but Rachel was very kind and helpful in offering my alternative curise trips I could go on when my all day trip was canceled due to the weather. She rebooked me on a shorter cruise but I still had a lovely time. She even took pictures of me jumping off the boat into the sea I appreciate that very much. I found it relaxing and soothing especially once the sails were up.

Great Experience! - Really fun outing with a super cool crew who make you feel comfortable and welcome from start to finish. Amazing views, and very smooth sailing while having a yarn and a cold beer. Really enjoyed the refreshing swim too. Thanks so much for a really cool experience. Highly recommend!

Relaxing finish the day - Fantastic end to the day cruising around between piahia and Russell under sail. Chilling in a bean bag soaking up the view. Recommend it !!

Not to be missed. - An absolute highlight of my trip to the Bay of Islands. They communicated so well - I knew exactly what to bring and where to be. The trip was magical. Luke was a great host and a fantastic captain making sure we were all comfortable. Make sure you bring your togs for a swim!
