The Kashmir tour - Kashmir is a heaven on the earth!! You must visit once before thinking out of India tour. We had a nice 8d 7n trip to Kashmir last week. It was planned by Lone Tours and Travels. Thanks to Ms. Rumi for all the planning and arrangements, she provided good itinerary for the tour, including Srinagar airport pick up n drop. All the hotels were good, Pahalgam one could have been more better though it was also good. I liked ‘The Dewan’ from Srinagar. Houseboat stay was awesome!! Very nice experience. ‘Chinar’ houseboat is too good with all the antique interior. You’ll get good homemade food feeling on the houseboat. If you have more number of people then you’ll enjoy more on the boat. We’re 2 families with kids so enjoyed a lot. Last but not least, our cab driver cum tour guide Mr. Aijaj Bhai, what a person he is. He’s a skilled driver, he knows each and every place very well. We’re having Innova Crysta car with us during entire tour which was a new vehicle. The journey was comfortable for 4 adults n 3 kids. Aijaj Bhai always used to tell do’s and don’ts when we used to visit each place. He helped to take my kid to the hospital on time as he was having severe stomach pain. Important note - Do not eat outside food like bhaji / pakoda, it may not be good for your stomach. We had a makke di roti and pahadi saag while coming back from Doodhpathari, it was awesome, that you can eat. Overall it was a very nice trip and we enjoyed a lot, Thanks Ms. Rumi, Aijaj Bhai.

Good experience - Excellent support back office , bhsima was instrumental in getting things happen, like we have misplaced the bag in house boat she figured it out And all the hotel bookings was great except Amritsar

Myth about Kashmir is now broken...kashmir is as approachable as the ither hill stations. - It was a nice visit...thought till the date (in thia year) Kashmir had nearly no rainfall hence no snow too. But surprisingly on 26th of January we had snow in Gulmarg started from night and enjoyed. The two other places we been to are Srinagar n Pahalgam. It was absolutely worth going to Kashmir as I been to mountains all over India HP, UK, NEI yet this place is mesmerizing, as because kashmir has a valley picturesque which is not in many other cases. Secondly people are also very charming though other places too yet many of us might have thought regarding conflict or emergency like situations...but too us it was nice yes ofcourse it is little expensive but the line traveller has did gave us a splendid guidance and deal. Hotels were comfortable and the vehicle too Ms Airzooo was very accommodating and the drivers too Mr. Rafiq. We wish to comeback again with many more friends and family members.

Awesome experience and a heaven on earth Kashmir - A very well planned trip from them. 7 days 8 nights trip covering all the places Sonmarg Doodhpatheri Pahalgam Gulmarg. Very good stays in very good hotels and foods were awesome. Very heart warming driver I would love to mention. He is very very comfortable and easy going which makes our trip very comfortable. Love to visit again with this travel group and Nisar Bhai as a driver for sure.

Excellent experience with Lone Tour and Travels - I am Baidyanath Gorai from West-Bengal. I took innova from Lone Tours and Travels to visit Kashmir. The car was very good . Driver name - Anil Sharma, Our driver is very nice and humble person and his behavior was too good. We enjoy our Kashmir trip very much with him and he guided us very well in our whole trip....so we are very much thankful to him and also Lone Tour and Travels. So I recommend to use this Travels . Kashmir Trip (Winter Trip) - I went to Kashmir for 8 nights package via Lone Tours & travels (3 Star Rooms Package). While compare with other tour agencies they gave best price package, which include [ Hotel Stay (BF & Dinner) and Taxi services]. Positive about Package: - Affordable Price packages - Special thanks to Ms.Rumi for Manage my whole trips & she available on the call whenever support needed. - Special thanks to Mr.Mehraj for the safety drive and very cooperative within the time. Negative about package: - The hotels which provided have regular power cut on Night times, because of this I faced Room Heater & Water heater problem. The fluctuating nature and realities of travel! - The review has been divided into the following sections : 1. Plan - The interaction with their representative, Ms. Rosheen was a fairly good experience. The composure and detailed understanding of the requirements gravitated us towards availing their services despite the availability of competitive alternatives with us. The most important factor to avail a service is the comfort and trust level, which is experienced during the interactions, which was quite visible during the creation of the itinerary. 2. Hotels - From the time of arrival to departure, it was a mixed bag feeling. The first half of the journey was marred with unpleasant experiences at the booked hotels in Srinagar and Pahalgam. When we travel with family, the expectation is a better environment with them, with odorless toilets, impeccable doors, continuous supply of hit water, and smooth functioning of the room heaters as basic functional requirements. The Srinagar hotels Ovi and Karam Grand are good hotels, but somehow, the initial experience at Ovi left a lot to be desired, Karam Grand, which was recommended by the Ovi management for a night,had an excellent experience on the account of stay and food. The Villagio, at Pahalgam, though again a good property, had issues with the room heater, which left elderly parents shivering for 6-7 hours throughout the night. This unpleasant experience left a very bad taste in the mouth. Despite our apprehensions of staying at Ovi, Srinagar, due to the issue with the supply of hot water (later clarified by the management attributed to a careless guest), the management tried their best to give a comparatively better experience on stay and food. The experience at Hotel Milan Srinagar, again, was worse with smelly rooms and the hair strands found in the food. While the latter half of the journey provided an excellent experience at The Heevan Retreat, Gulmarg, and Mascot Houseboats at Nigeen Lake, Hotel Milan sandwiched between them made a little dent in the experience. 3. Trip - The cab experience during the entire leg of the journey was an exhilarating experience. The bond formed by the family with the driver, Shri Javid Ahmad, was an enriching experience. While a long trip like this has its share of ups and downs, the predominantly higher share of ups rather made up for a below average experience at Doodhpatri and Gulmarg. The friendly, accomodating, and pleasant nature of Shri Javid made him an extended arm of our family. While we did miss a few places due to the nature of our trip, the experience was unmatched for. May the Almighty bless him and his family with all the happiness he deserves in life. While the trip started with a lot of excitement, the challenges faced in the 1st half of the trip were somehow compensated by the time the trip ended at Mascot Houseboats with the affable nature of the crew, led by Shri Imtiyaz Turan who went out of the way in ensuring a pleasant experience at their property. While Ms. Rosheen, being merely a student there, had done her absolute best in aligning the itinerary, but the proactiveness to align with the evolving expectations and the experience of the guests needed to improve by the company. The extra rating points are purely on the experience with the driver and the latter half of the journey. May be I should have made my expectations clearer right from the beginning on the hotels and food to ensure an even better experience for my family. Will I recommend Lone Travels to fellow travelers? May be, but the driver, definitely yes.
