No pulling the wool over your eyes at bullswool farm - A sleepy little gem in southern coromandel Or only 15mins drive from waihi area Either way an unassuming , delightful treat for animal lovers . Excellent value with no time constraints, only how long you want to feed the happy little to big animals From sheep , to a great pig , to ducks , to a couple of elegant horses .. Chuck in a pheasant and one on brand cranky goat and you more animals to feed and pat than you have hands. They all looked happy ( well maybe not cranky goat ) and in good sized spaces . A charming interaction was at check in , you get a bucket of food , labelled for each animal type … included in the price of entry ( which by an std is cheap as chips ) We asked if we needed more than one - rather than a hard sell - they said if you run out come buy another … which we dutifully did .. and would have bought more and more I think had Mother Nature in the form of rain intervened. #sheeps for the win Five out of five for value and animals in a happy place

Wow! What an amazing visit. - Wonderful experience that we will long remember. We included this experience into one of our small group tours and what a great day it was! We fed all of the animals and wandered through the lovely grounds and then had a picnic lunch at the farm. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking and there was abundant beauty at every turn.

Absolutely fantastic - We have been to many of these farms over the years and I can honestly say that is one is my/our favourite. It is clean and everything is looked after and nice and tidy. Oftentimes, fences or playground equipment are half rotten, crooked or in need of some TLC - but here everything looks really well maintained. Most importantly, the animals look happy and healthy! We loved the creative playground equipment and I adore the detail that went into them. There is keyboards, real radios, proper stools, even an old engine in the cars. We stayed in Waihi Beach for a couple of nights doing the Rail Trail, Karangahake Windows Walk and Bullswool Farm and had a great little holiday in the April school holidays. We can definitely recommend Bullswool Farm!

Highly Recommend So Much Fun! - We took our two sons, 7 years and 4 years during the October school holidays, we had an absolute blast, we loved feeding the animals, and all the wooden toys to play on we're really fun, can easily spend hours here, and next time we would bring a picnic and stay longer

Such a fun experience - We stopped in here on the way from Auckland to Tauranga and I’m so glad we did. What a fun day. I’m not from NZ so it was cool for me to feed some sheep while in this beautiful country. The animals were so friendly (except for a young deer, he didn’t like people too much) but it was awesome to see them all up close and see how well looked after they are. The feeding system is smart. Colour coded cups and signs so you knew which feed to give to which animals & there was plenty of it too. Price was really good, I think entry was around $18 and feed was an extra $5. But we’ll worth it. We were delayed getting to Tauranga because we spent more time here than we anticipated but if you’re going through the gorge, definitely stop in!
