On this journey, you will experience a blend of excitement and high-octane adventure. The Pacuare River, known globally for its picturesque environment accentuated by its verdant canyons adorned by cascading waterfalls on both ends. Within its rich environment of flora and fauna, you will discover sloth bears, toucans, parakeets, coatis, a vivid spectrum of butterflies and frogs. Also, its crystal-clear waters add a thrilling touch, making it an adventure trip you will never forget. No individuals below the age of 12 are permitted.
- What to bring: wear rafting clothes (light shoes that will stay on, swimming suit, shorts, nylon shirt), sunscreen, water bottle, change of clothes, towel, insect repellent, a bit of cash. All luggage will be kept in lockers.

So much fun! - I will start with our guide on the river, Andres (Anthony, when he is in trouble) was the funniest, most amazing guide. He gets a 10 star and hopefully a pay raise. From the pickup point, breakfast, rafting, and lunch were all above average. Andres was amazing, kept us save and gave excellent instruction. We laughed at his jokes (especially the mother in law ) all the way down the river. Unforgettable trip.

Stop looking… just do it!!! - My wife and I where picked up from the hotel exactly on time. Eduardo our river guide introduced himself and our driver Carlos. Things never got off track for a second. The drive to the rafting center, breakfast at the center, lunch at the center after the rafting everything was perfect.
There were some pretty intense/fun rapids. Eduardo’s instructions and raft management inspired confidence and a sense of enormous fun the entire time!!!

Beautiful Adventure - Best for in between stops on a trip. Long drive from Puerto Viejo - Eduardo is an incredible guide. This is actually booked through a local Costa Rican agency. The drive from Puerto Viejo is almost 3 hours, so I recommend booking this trip in between travel from one place to another. Best whitewater rafting - waterfalls, swimming and more.

The best experience in a packing two weeks of excursions - We spent two weeks travelling around Costa Rica and loved every second. This experience was the highlight and the must do for anyone visiting. The organisation and management by the team was excellent. The focus on safety everything you'd expect and again excellent. The fun of the rafting was awesome. But really..... the view of the rainforest travelling down the river is quite simply jaw dropping and something you would never see if you stick to the roads

Once in a lifetime views - We had Eduardo as our guide, and he was awesome! He was a really nice guy who made us feel really confident when we were on the water. We saw some of the most amazing views I've ever seen. It was like something out of Jurassic park. We saw waterfalls, canyons, toucans, indigenous huts, etc... The breakfast and lunch provided was delicious, and definitely hearty portions. The pictures we bought are amazing, and definitely worth it. On the way back, Eduardo spotted some sloths and the bus driver was nice enough to pull over so everybody could get out and take a look. I would definitely put this high on my list of the coolest things I've ever done.

Perfect for all levels of fitness - This was my second time on this tour. This time we had three other friends that were a little leery as to the activity level. They were very impressed with it not being too strenuous yet very exciting. The views are breathtaking. The breakfast and lunch we’re very large portions and excellent food. Our personal belongings were very secure, and the facilities to change were clean.

Beautiful memories - We had a fantastic time. The Pacuare river was beautiful. Andres and Edwardo were wonderful. They were patient and knowledgeable. We would recommend the trip to anyone who wants to have a good time while making some awesome memories.

Experience of lifetime - The most memorable part of this experience was the WHOLE thing. This was me and my fiance 1st time white water rafting & now we cant wait to do it again.The breakfast and lunch option we had was Yummy! They use a salsa called "Lizano Salsa" & I haven't stopped thinking about it since. Our guide Michael was great, he talked us thru everything, even when my fiance slipped off the raft, everybody was there to grab him & pull him back onto the raft. We all laughed so hard after the fact. I would definently go back during peak season. GO! you won't regret it.
