A great way to spend an afternoon! - The tour was fantastic — Simon is a great and incredibly knowledgeable tour leader. I learned a ton about Oxford’s history and the writers who studied there and can’t recommend this highly enough for anyone looking to get a better understanding of Oxford! Simon also had some great book recommendations, especially Scoop by Evelyn Vaugh.

Excellent tour guide, Jane! - Jane, the guide, was the star of the tour - her excellent and engaged knowledge of history left every participants with absolutely no questions and overwhelmed with interesting facts. She was brilliant in her choice of what to share with the participants of the tour - from great historic lines over small historic anecdotes to basic info of the pricing of student lunch in the college. The tour was a perfect mix of information about Oxford delivered in a professionel yet symphatic personal way by tour guide Jane. My husband and I were relieved to discover, that the tour guide was not an indifferent random student earning a few quits by repeating the same learned-by-heart Google facts, wich is often the case in city tours like this. The 1,5 hour tour that we participated in Friday 29. March at 15 o’clock went by in a split second and we enjoyed every minute of it. All credit to the tour guide Jane - make sure to keep her on the team. Kind regards Pia and Rhobin, from Denmark

Excellent tour guides for Oxford. - Simon was an excellent and accommodating guide. Despite me being the only tourist and despite the cold rainy weather, he took me along on a tour of New College. I enjoyed learning from him and talking with him about Tolkien, Lewis, and some of the history of Oxford.

Super fun and informative tour - We loved everything about this tour. Our tour guide Alec was awesome. He was so knowledgeable and we learned so much. He pointed out so many things that we never would have known to even look for and we learned so much. He had us laughing while learning ( even my 13 year old!) It was the perfect day!

Oxford Walking Tour - Tim is such a great guide and clearly enthused by Oxford, It's history and literary legacy. We were particularly interested in Tolkien and CS Lewis and he took us to the Colleges associated with them as well as many others. He knows his stuff and has a such a nice manner. So pleased we got to go on the tour. Definitely recommend it.

Did not do what it says on the tin! - Was very interesting. However it did not do what it said on the tin. We went to a few colleges but did only on the outside. We did not enter any of them. So feel like this is misleading as the photos from previous people show that they are in doors and in some nice gardens. It also says all entry fees are covered. We did not go in anywhere. I am not sure if this was because it was Easter weekend. But feel we did not get the tour we paid for. But a good tour all the same.

Very Good - I thought this was a very good way to get to know some of the main Colleges in the centre of Oxford. Jaw dropping architecture but so much more than that with a guided tour. Our tour guide was clearly very knowledgeable about the various Colleges he took us into, through and around that form part of Oxford University. Answered all our questions and gave historical pointers about the City and University Collages. Seeing the Quadrangles, Chapels and an amazing Dinning room in New Collage were highlights for me.

Walking tour that could have been better. - Having done free walking tours elsewhere we anticipated this paid, well-rated one would be great. It wasn’t. It didn’t really deliver on its promise of looks at Potter, Morse & Lewis sites and seeing inside other sights. Some good stories and interesting anecdotes but a bit disappointing. The guide shouldn’t make a difference but maybe in this case…..?

Disappointed - We were very excited for our tour of Oxford with the “best company” in Oxford but were left disappointed by our guide Matthew. More concerned with money.
