Wonderful tour around Oxford - This Tour was the highlight of our weekend trip to Oxford. Our guide Jaye was really knowledgeable with a touch of humour. The pace was really relaxed. We explored parts of Oxford we would have never discovered if we had not been on this tour. Highly recommend Jaye as a guide and the rest of the team at Bainton Bikes.

Brilliant guide, very interesting! - This was just the right level for us. A 2 1/2 hour leisurely ride around Oxford. Our guide was great. Just the right level of information. We learnt some very interesting stuff about Oxford!

A fun, interesting and most enjoyable history lesson - and all on a bike!! - The whole experience was memorable. Mike was a top rate tour guide, taking me to nooks and cranies of the City not discoverable off your own bat. His knowledge of history was excellent and his interesting, quirky anecdotes were enjoyable and entertaining. Cycling round the City was definitely the way to go, especially given that I was there only for a flying visit. I am a confident cyclist but I'm sure a novice would feel equally safe with the routes we took. It was very easy to negotiate the roads and little amount of traffic we encountered. I would recommend it as a 'must do' for any visit to the City.

Excellent tour - Excellent guide - great choice - We joined the 2-3 hr tour with Mike at Bainton bikes. After the set up on the bikes and helmets provided if wanted (NZ’rs are used to them), we hit all the main highlights of the old city & more. Mike has a great depth of knowledge and a great story teller.
We loved the canals and criss crossing the old bridges and a surprise find with the old Godstow nunnery which was in the Mamma Mia 2 movie (when I kissed the teacher scene).
A mix of relaxed biking pace in the inner city and a good stretch of the legs along the canal’s & countryside.
Great experience right around and thoroughly recommend Mike as a tour guide. A+

Oxford August cycling tour - We enjoyed our tour with knowledgeable guide Mike.
Cycling around is a great way to see the Oxford sights.
The pace was gentle, with no significant climbs.
If arriving by car, I recommend planning your parking in advance.

Great way to learn about Oxford - Great mix of Colleges, canals. Felt more comfortable than cycling on our own. Plus we learned a lot. Plenty of stops. Not non stop biking.

Great bike tour - Today we had a bike tour from Bainton Bikes through Oxford.
Seen and heard a lot from our guide Mike about Oxford.
Definitely worth doing. You come to places that you would not visit yourself.
