Savour the chance to explore all the historic and architecturally impressive sites at your leisure, hopping on and off the double-decker bus at your whim. From the open-top deck, soak up commanding views of Christ Church College, Brasenose College, The Plain, the Sheldonian Theatre, Trinity College, and even The Eagle and Child pub, the favoured haunt of J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis! The on-board narration is sure to keep you captivated with fascinating tidbits as you journey around. Also included is a professionally guided walking tour, allowing you a more intimate glimpse into the local way of life.

Operates: All Year Round (except 1st January, 25th & 26th December)
Tour operates 9:30am - between 5pm and 6pm depending on the time of year. Frequency of the bus is every 10 - 15 minutes
Duration: 40 minutes
45-Minute Stepping Through Oxford Guided Walking Tour:- 11:30am, 12:30pm, 2pm and 3pm. Meeting Point: Oxford Visitor Information Point, 44-45 High Street
Please note that the guided walking tour is seasonal, and customers should enquire upon arrival for more information.
Mobile or paper vouchers accepted. Paper vouchers must be redeemed at City Sightseeing shop in Oxford Railway Station.
Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the travel date selected at check-out
Please note, the bus tour will be affected on Tuesday 14th May due to the Oxford Town and Gown Run taking place. From the start of the service until approximately 12:30pm, only Stops 1 - 10 will be in use

Great overview of Oxford - Entertaining and informative tour of Oxford on a warm bus on a cold day. Our tour guide Erica was so much fun and kept us laughing with her witty humor!

Oxford Tour - Excellent - Lesley was truly amazing. She has a great knowledge of Oxford, the old city, university colleges and maps out relational sites to include historical events with insightful gusto. She is a gem of a tour guide - thank you Lesley, you made our visit very special.

Fun and informative.... - Fun and informative. Comfortable seats. Options to sit downstairs or upstairs in a covered area or outside area. Great spots to stop and helpful audio in 14 languages.

Day trip to Oxford - Great Tour thanks very much, very engaging, interesting and informative, much appreciated! We used the bus tour as soon as we arrived in Oxford, having never been before, and did the whole tour in one ride to get our bearings before hopping off at the cathedral and starting from there, and on again later. Worked for us!

Thank you Gregg - There’s no option to select January 2022 when our company attended the bus tour . Gregg was absolutely fantastic. He did a great job at keeping us entertained while the driver was driving. Thank you Gregg. This year we didn’t have Gregg or someone guiding us as the bus was driving and this made a big difference

Helpful, knowledgeable guides - First, I forgot our bus drivers name, but he was super cool! I had to drop off to find my car and pay more for more time. I told the bus driver what I was doing and we agreed to meet in two stops. I raced to the car, paid the additional fee for parking, then raced to the next stop. When I got there our driver was patiently waiting with a smile on his face. Second - Do the walking tour too! Graham was a very knowledgeable and amiable guide. He shared some great tidbits and packed so much in-depth history into 45 minutes. We covered a lot of ground! He also gave us some good advice about things to try when we left the tour to explore on our own.

2 Day pass to Oxford - Great way to see Oxford. The bus went everywhere and we never had to wait long . Drivers were helpful and friendly especially Linda who seemed to know exactly when to arrive! Took the included walk through the old part of the city with Jeremy which was really good.
