My friend and I wanted to see so much but also have time to explore and we were overwhelmed with choices when we first began our research. Through reviews I stumbled upon David Stubbs and decided to go for a private tour guide complete with door-to-door transportation! He helped tailor our trip and gave us plenty of time in each town. He also guided us to great recommendations for drinks and shopping and even made us lunch reservations! We didn’t have a worry in the world as he thought of everything! We never felt rushed and we got everything we wanted! He even squeezed in Oxford which wasn’t planned and it made the trip even better! Wonderful Day in the Cotswolds - My group of 3 loved our day in the Cotswolds with Peter as our guide. He lead us through the highlights of Oxford on the way to various villages, suggesting a quaint pub for our lunch along the way. We particularly appreciated that Peter was willing to engage in conversation about current events and answer our many questions about the UK, British Isles, geography and governance. As our visit was during the official mourning period for Queen Elizabeth, it was kind of him to provide thoughtful perspective to this piece of his country's history--an added dimension that surely would have been lacking on a big group tour. Thank you, Peter, for a memorable experience!

Cotswolds day tour - We did a whirlwind tour of Paris, Amsterdam, London, and the Cotswolds. I particular, we arranged with London Country Tours to do the Cotswolds. David was great. It was a high point of our vacation. 5 stars all the way.

The Cotswolds - We did a private tour with Peter to The Cotswolds. He was a wealth of knowledge at each destination. Very patient and kind man and we were never rushed. Picked up exactly on time at our hotel. I would not hesitate to do More tours with this company in the future.
