Excellent tour of a very somber and thought provoking subject - Booked direct as we had read of many silly time changes and or cancellations by “tour companies”. We also booked the shuttle bus, from the Bus depot, which drops you off (and picks up) from right alongside the ticket entrance. There are hundreds of people but all very well managed in booked time slots. Each group has headsets with different channels so you can hear your guide without interruption from other guides. Excellent organisation. It’s an emotional/moving experience and it’s difficult to comprehend those events such a short time ago.

Good tour overall - Tour was great. Driver was on time and very attentive. Be aware though that the time on Viator may differ from the time you’ll be picked up. Only after we were within the 24 hr cancellation they reached out saying the 9am tour was actually 1145am therefore we had to change our evening plans. Other than that, I’d recommend.

The standard tour plus... - The standard tour plus transportation. It's useful, of course, to avoid contending with getting tickets.

Sad but much needed visit - Very insightful tour. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and did a great job in talking through the past. It was a lot of walking but well worth the visit to pay respect. We were picked up on time, a very well organized trip. We got through the tickets and security area with ease and had hand held devices with headphones so that we could hear the guide throughout the tour.

Do not book!!! - What a absolute nightmare. Booked with these, for a “skip the line” 8 o’clock entry ticket, the night before we got a text to say the bus will be leaving to go to auschwitz at 1:45am, and to be there ready for 1:30am, I got in touch as I thought that must be an error, to be told they was unable to get any tickets so we had to go there to wait, we got picked up slightly after 1:30am, we was there around 10 to 3 in the morning… and told to go join the queue, even though our tickets were “skip the line”. So we joined the queue to then find out that it doesn’t open till 7:30, so we had to stand outside 3am till 7:30am , no access to a toilet, all cold, wet, we was in just after it opended & was then told we had to wait another 2 hours for a guide. By the Time we got in nobody wanted to carry on, we was all tired, all in pain from standing around for 5 and a half hours. Do not book!!!!! , get your tickets off the official auschwitz website & get the train
