On your way there, you will pass near Moses springs where the prophet Moses took his family and created a miracle, also known as parting of the Red Sea. You will arrive to the oldest and highest mountain in Egypt. See the burning bush inside the monastery. You will also be able to climb up to the Moses Mountain where he received the Ten Commandments.

Thumbs up - The tour was really good, and Ali Baba was a terrific guide. The hike up Mt Sinai for sunrise was well worth the effort - the views were incredible - and the monastery afterwards was also very interesting. Would definitely recommend for an off-the-beaten-path experience

Wonderful views - Very attencious guide and driver. Always buying water and snacks. The visit to Saint Catherine Monastery was quick, and the hiking to The mountain to see the sunset was incredible!

"A trip of a Lifetime" - Ayoub was very personable. Made us feel like we were traveling with friends and not hired help. Ahmed the driver was very chill as well. This was a trip of a lifetimes. So much history and actually getting to see the places that are in the Bible, words can not express. I would say everyone must do this trip before they die.

Cairo to St. Catherine with Ayoub and Esam - My husband and I had a wonderful trip from Cairo to Saint Catherine’s. Ayoub was our amazing guide, and Esam was so helpful as our driver. They truly were a great team. We appreciated the organization, and constant care we had on the trip. Climbing Mount Sinai was truly a special experience and we so appreciated our driver and guide making it so memorable for us. We highly recommend this trip!

Excellent Trip - Friendly tour guide and driver made me feel far more comfortable on my first solo trip. Everything went smoothly and everything was covered. Amir was my tour guide and was knowledgeable and very nice. If you visit during winter a jacket may be appropriate.

Guides took very good care of us and Sinai is a must!! - Amazing trip up Mt. Sinai with Let's Explore Egypt! We loved our tour guide and our Bedouin guide who led us up the mountain. Reasonably priced and the food is delicious!
Our guide (Mohammed Mahmoud) took very good care of us and made sure all the details were covered. He spoke very good English and was very hospitable. I highly recommend this trip.
One note, be prepared for a strenuous hike. My wife and I are in good shape, but it was still very challenging.

Moses Mountain Sunrise Hike - Hussein Elgbry was a wonderful tour guide and Ahmed Alm Aldin was a courteous driver. This tour was an incredible experience and one I highly recommend. Although a challenging hike, it is certainly worth the climb-should you choose to ascend to the summit. The views of sunrise were breathtaking and there were plenty of breaks built in. Thanks for a great experience!

Incredible place to visit but not with this tour - Terrible hotel room dirty bathroom unpleasant in need of repair. Tour guide slept the whole way there. Opening time of the monastery kept changing, We arrived and had to wait over two hours to get in and only one part was open to visitors Museum and library were closed

Bad travel agency - "Let's explore Egypt" is a very unserious travel agency. They would pick me up at 7:00 a.m. at my hotel. As nobody came I wrote a message via WhatsApp. They answered that they cancelled the trip because of security reasons. In my opinion it was a lie because on the homepage of the German Federal Foreign Office was not announced anything like that.

Not going to use booker and operator again! - Viator confirmed the booking for the 2-day treck up Mount Sinai. I waited 45 min at the arranged time. The operator the trip, Let’s Explore Egypt, told me then the trip was cancelled - with a lot of attitude. Thanks a lot. Stay away from both of them.
Rebooked the same day with Cairo Top Tours. FABULOUS. They pulled off a miracle!!!
