Highlights
  • Ourika Valley - Around 08:30am the tour starts from Marrakesh straight to Ourika valley a kind of splendid area between the Atlas mountains famous of its fortified houses built of clay and straw, inhabited by Berber population who have existed in Morocco thousands of years before, and maintained intact their customs and traditions through time. Our first stop will be an extraordinary beautiful panoramic view of the green fields of vegetables and cereals, forage, and - of course - olives, which is a typical product of the valley, some panoramic views deserve to be on your camera, then for interested people, there will be a stop at the cooperative of Argan oil to get a sufficient explanation about how those berber women, do to hand-crack the Argan nuts and squeeze them between two special stones, a technique they’ve used for centuries. Afterwards drive to the Setti Fatma waterfalls, a tour with a local mountains guide, that lasts 90 minutes approximately, Back from this nice trek we will drive by off-road through mountains, for a chance to admire the beauty of the atlas nature with its different colors, and numerous villages where clay-color homes are still standing after many centuries; Then head to a small village called Sidi Fares, for lunch in a traditional Berber house that looks out on the high Atlas Toubkal mountain with a height of 4167 meters also known as the highest peak in north Africa. Then enjoy a delicious taste of the real Berber gastronomy: the menu includes a Berber Tagine, couscous and fruits, then comeback to Marrakesh via the Asni valley and Tahannaout village.

Highlight of our stay in Marrakech. Atlas Mountain tour. - The day trip to the High Atlas Mountains is amazing. We stopped to take pictures of the breath taking scenery on a number of occasions. Visited the village of Setti Fatma where we saw argon oil being made, a beautiful river and a Berbers pottery, where we were shown a tagine being made. There are waterfalls near by where guides can take you to. (Adventure Masters can arrange a visit to the waterfalls if you request in advance). We visited a number of Berber shops on route where you could buy argon oil, local honey, saffron, pottery and souvenirs. We then had a lunch in a Berber families house. It was so tasty. Our guide Hassan was accommodating and stopped where ever we wanted to. There were lots of toilet stops, so we were never cross legged. Adventure masters were excellent. We had a few questions before we booked, such as the posibility of visiting the waterfalls in addition and Mohamed came straight back. I would highly recommend this trip.

Daytrip Marrakesh Atlas - Had a great tour with guide Aziz to the Atlas mountains, visiting the three valleys, an argan oil store and a typical berber house. Another highlight was a delicious lunch on the roof top of an authentic berber family. Overall, very well organized and very nice guide.

Transfers and Atlas Mountain day trip - I used the company for my hotel transfers and the day trip to the atlas mountains. It was very easy to contact the company via email before I left to Morocco and then using whatsapp whilst in Morocco. Abdul Hakim would always ring drivers to make sure everything was ok and it was great of him to ring when we arrived into the country to welcome us. The transfers were excellent, clean comfortable cars. we were offered water and the drivers drive sensibly and no sudden braking or swerving in and out of traffic. Abdoul Ami was our wonderful driver to the Atlas mountains, such a wonderful man with very good manners and spoke great English. He always stopped at amazing viewpoints to get great photos and was always happy to stop of we saw something we liked. Lunch at the home of the Berber family was amazing the food was great and the views spectacular. We took a short walk outside the family home as suggested by our driver and we were so glad we did for the views and the serenity of our surroundings. Abdoul ami soared very knowledgeable of the area the people and was a great conversationalist. Would highly recommend the atlas tour and would recommend adventure masters.

Great day trip with a lot of different landscapes! - We had a great day with Hakim today, he could tell us a lot about the history, culture and traditions of Morocco and even some fun facts! Really nice lunch at a Berber family home. We saw some pretty amazing (different) sceneries and he even taught us some Arabic! All together we strongly recommend Hakim & Adventure Masters for a good (private) day away from the crowd in the Medina!!

A Great Tour Company Offering - Airport Transfers and Atlas Mountain Day Tour - We booked our transfers and tour with only 24 hours to spare. I spoke to Abdul Hakim who spoke fantastic English, French and Arabic. During the booking we had requested a Mercedes Viteo and we got just that! A brand new and very clean large car. Abdul Hakim was waiting for us promptly at Marrakech airport with a clear name place. He was incredibly polite and welcoming. No ask was too much. He dropped us to our Hotel and came back to collect us the following day for our day tour to the Atlas Mountains. Abdul Hakim is a very knowledgeable guide. I have done the Atlas Mountain tour before however Abdul took us to places whereby the scenery was beyond imagination. If you do use this tour company, then make sure to request Abdul Hakim as your driver and tour guide. He was very good and highly accommodating to all our requests.
