- Swartberg Pass - The journey begins in Oudtshoorn, traveling through a stunning agricultural region towards the Swartberg Mountains. Ample time is allocated to appreciate the scenery, capture photographs, and take short walks on the pass for those who wish to stretch their legs.
- Prince Albert - A brief visit to the charming town of Prince Albert, known for its beautiful Cape Dutch, Victorian, and Karoo-style houses.
- Meiringspoort Pass - Following Prince Albert, the drive continues through the Great Karoo along the northern side of the Swartberg Mountains to Meiringspoort Gorge.

Meiringspoort Waterfall - The breathtaking scenery of the ‘canyon’ is enjoyed, with a stop at Meiringspoort Waterfall, where water cascades from a height of 60 meters into a 9-meter deep pool. On warm summer days, there is an opportunity to take a refreshing dip in the water. Toilet facilities are available at the parking area for changing into swimwear.
Via the town of De Rust, the journey returns to Oudtshoorn.

A day that will live long in the memory. - This stunning scenery was only enhanced by Roeland Gabriel's knowledge and enthusiasm for the environment. He is extremely engaging and we learned so much more with his guidance than we would have if travelling alone. Also this is not a route on rough gravel roads with sheer drops that you should consider taking in a conventional hire car. A magnificent day out.

Best day in holiday - Roeland give us a full unforgettable day and wonderful experiences. We feel save every moment on Swartberg pass trip. The information we got was exiting and he give us all answer to all our questions. The best daytrip in oud three weeks holiday. Roeland is a wonderful guide and he do his job with passion. Great tour with an experienced guide - Roland was a great guide on our half day tour. We learned a lot about the locality, nature and the mountains. He is clearly passionate about his work and meeting the needs of his guests. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Most impressive trip over the Swartberg pass - my 23 year old son and I had a wonderful day discovering waterfalls, dirt routes, wild animals and most importantly the impressive Swartberg pass. Roeland was extraordinary - not only did he know an awful lot about the country, its people, animals and the challenges this area of Soutafrica is facing, he was also easy to understand. That's an important point if your mother tongue is not English...
We would go on tour with him any time again.

Amazing Day!! - I had a wonderful solo tour with Roeland. It included the Cango caves, an ostrich farm, Prince Albert and the Swartberg pass. Roeland is a wealth of knowledge and very personable. I loved that everywhere we went - everyone knew him. I learned so much.

Excellent tour! - We had a great private tour through the swartberg area from Roeland! He knows a lot about the flora and fauna and history of the area and can talk very passionately about it. We could shape the tour ourselves based on our interests and could stop wherever we wanted to take pictures, take a small walk or ask about the birds we heard. He also helped us with some tips for the rest of our trip through the Gardenroute. All in all a very helpful guide!

Wonderful experience with a friendly, patient and knowledgable guide - We had an absolutely wonderful time with Roeland AKA Jabu. Roeland really takes his time to ensure that you have the best possible experience. His very knowledgable about the area and shares interesting tidbits of information throughout the journey. You get to enjoy beautiful landscapes, meet interesting people and learn about the region in a relaxing atmosphere. Absolute value for money.

Fantastic!! - We were tight on time, only spending one night in Oudtshoorn. Roeland fit in a late afternoon tour for us. He met us at our hotel, which was near the Cango Caves. Roeland couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. Beyond that he was so knowledgeable about the history, geology, plant and animal life in the pass. We spent a wonderful afternoon with Roeland and he dropped us off after dark, maximizing every minute we had. We would highly recommend Roeland and Swartberg Mountain Tours for touring the area.

Fantastic Day - The Swartberg Pass was fantastic. We had a wonderful day with Roeland, he has a wealth of knowledge about the area. We were able to have lots of photo stops, and short walks through the pass. The view is just incredible and you won't want to be watching the road!
