Amazing Tour - We did the Byward Market Evening Tour and it was amazing! Richard was the best guide, every stop we thought was the best until we reached the next one. The food, the drinks, the history, everything you could ask for. We were so full though, when they say bring your appetite, they mean it! Also, my first croffle was incredible, First Bite was a nice surprise at the end. We still managed to get the light treat in amongst all the other goodness stuffed in our bellies. If you’re thinking about doing a food tour, this is the one to do!

Bikes and Bites - Bike and Bites tour in partnership with Escape Bike Tours was an excellent way to experience the people, food, and culture of Ottawa…all while getting to spin your wheels. Food was diverse and delicious. Bike guide Richard was outstanding very knowledgeable, fun to be around and easy to ride with. Fabia was worldly and well versed in the Ottawa food scene. Together they teamed to teach, and he me enjoy a beautiful day. Great company and food! While it was pricey for just two folks it was a valuable experience for my wife and I.

ByWard market food tour - Flavia was a wonderful and knowledgable tour guide who took us through byward market in an expert way, giving us a bit of history and art between visits to a few of Byward market's wonderful eateries. We had an AMAZING start with Pure Kitchen's radical cauliflower wings. I have never loved cauliflower so much!
Next we had a beef taco at Corazon de Maiz, which was delicious, and we really enjoyed stopping at Lil Z's pizza and trying the Lil Z. Can't wait to try more of the unique pizza's there.
After the savory options, we enjoyed tea at the byward market tea store. I am not a big cold tea drinker, but it was so aromatic, we both really enjoyed it.
At the cupcake lounge the dolce de leche cupcake was moist and not too sweet, and we also enjoyed the mandatory beavertail stop. Altogether it was a really enjoyable experience and a fun way to get to know byward market.

Blissful chocolate heaven ! - We signed up for the Chocolate Lover’s Tour as an activity for our anniversary - because we both love chocolate! Not knowing entirely what to expect, we were delighted to find ourselves blissfully enjoying chocolate for two hours from some of the best bakeries and cafés in the Byward Market. Stefanie is such an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide who truly got us excited about chocolate, from its history to how it’s made and transformed. We tasted churros, macarons, pastries and gelato - and it felt like we travelled around the world as we learned about the history of all these creations. I cannot recommend this tour and C’est Bon enough - you will enjoy yourself and learn a lot in any class or tour you sign up for. And, you will get to appreciate all of the hidden food gems Ottawa has to offer!

Memorable experience - We had a great evening, our tour guide (Gregory) was knowledgeable of the area, friendly, and very respectful of letting us enjoy the experience. Even though we live minutes from the market area we discovered two new places to eat and share with friends.
We have already recommended this to friends who are planning tours of their own.
We will definitely do more tours or take a cooking class with c'est bon Ottawa.

Great way to sample lots of delicious ByWard Market fare AND learn about the area! - What a great afternoon my husband and I had on the Taste of the ByWard Market food tour! Every stop was absolutely delicious. There was so much food on the tour that I took my final tasting home with me. Stefanie is a wonderful guide - friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She has great relationships with all of the tasting stop owners and we really felt warmly welcomed by all of them. I’ve visited Ottawa many times but learned and saw lots in the market area that I had no idea about. Thank you Stefanie for such a great tour!

I would do it again! - Really good experience, AMAZING food on the tour, knowledgeable and fun guide. We had a blast and were so full at the end. Definitely worth it! And we shopped afterward in the ByWard market.

Discovering Market eats! - This tour was an awesome experience! Richard was an excellent guide! Not only did we discover some new eats in the Market, but Richard made the tour very interesting with historic and product information on the different restaurants. We also enjoyed getting to know this new Canadian resident and shower him with Canadian kindness.

Great experience. - We had a wonderful tour today with Greg. All the food was absolutely delicious! Greg went above and beyond to make sure we had great experience. His knowledge of all history of the area added to the enjoyment of the excursion. We would highly recommend this tour.
