Most lovely ikebana class ever! - I had such a lovely time at Ms. Ishihara's ikebana class! She was incredibly patient and kind, guiding us through the basics while letting us experiment with all sorts of beautiful flowers and different vases. What made it even more special were her wonderful stories about the art and her own experiences, she has such a gentle way of teaching that made the whole experience feel magical rather than intimidating.

Fantastic Experience for Beginners! - Delightful experience! Everything was very well explained, and even without a strong eye for space I was pleased with the result. Excited to try out new arrangements at home!

An experience beyond Ikebana - The location is an oasis within city limits. Go early and soak in the surroundings before you head inside the building, upstairs to the room. Get your zen on. The class itself went beyond expectations -- Ikebana styles were taught, tea was served, snacks were quite lovely, and company, amongst friends and our instructor -- all so lovely.

Wonderful Experience! - This experience was so enjoyable! Miri was very kind and a wonderful teacher. I was able to take my time making two arrangements and she was very encouraging. You get an intro to the art of Ikebana and explore the creativity of it. Plus, you are then able to take some flowers with you. Miri shared matcha and treats while we talked about Tokyo and design. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Excellent course and tutor! - Great way to spend a rainy morning in Tokyo. Interesting temple venue within an easy walk from Omori Station. Course was good fun with a little theory followed by practice. Miri was a good (patient) teacher and had a great sense of humour - she needed it - and very good English. Overall an excellent experience.
