Above and Beyond - If you don't mind being on a schedule and a lot of driving and walking, then this is the tour for you! Our driver, Joesif, was top notch! We were not able to find a driver to drop us off at the meet-up location so our tour driver went above and beyond to come pick us up at the house we were staying at even though this caused a 30 minute delay, Joesif was extremely patient and very nice, also a great driver, and obviously cared for our safety and satisfaction. Our tour guides were no different, our first one, Ana Marie, kept us on track and was very attentive to our needs and requests, also very patient as my 87-year-old father was also on this adventure with us. We were unable to visit Tumalog Falls but they refunded that portion of the trip for us. Our second guide for Kawasan Falls was just as patient, friendly, and attentive. Overall, highly recommend this tour!

Best experience ever!! Bucket list checked off! - So here’s my review of this trip. We got picked up from our hotel (Plantation Bay Resort) around 3am by our driver Ludz. He explained to us how far the ride to Oslob would be which usually around 3 hrs. We ran into a road block in the middle of the road so he had to reroute us. Me and my fiance was able to sleep still even though we didn’t get to Oslob till around 7am. We got our tickets but we had to wait which I didn’t mind since it was packed! So many people were excited just as we were to swim with the majestical whale sharks. So our tour guide Joy told us we’ll be going to the sandbar instead to kill some time. It was a cool experience. She talked about the island and gave us some insights about her culture and the city. Soon it was time to go back to finally swim with the sharks and let me tell you this… best thing I ever did in my life. Or one of the best lol. If you’re reading this right now book this trip!! It’s so worth it. We then went on another drive to see the Kawasan falls where we met up with Dan. He was our tour guide for the short hike to Kawasan falls. The fall was beautiful and the water was like a frost Gatorade color. Which was dope for the pictures and videos that we was able to get. Overall our tour guides and driver was the best ever. Much love to all of them. We tipped them well because they did their jobs and deserved every penny. Thank you guys for these amazing memories. We appreciate you.

So cool - This was a very cool tour with a very wonderful guide who was fun, nice, knowledgeable and had excellent photography skills lol. I believe her name was Diana. If not, the tour was on March 6 so I hope she does get credit for being great. The pick up time is veryyy early and the drive to the whales is quite long. Our impressive driver Arnold has a second career awaiting him as a race car driver lol but got us there safe and on time. He frequently checked to see if we were ok with the ride and we always were. The other reviews do a good job at describing the mad house that is the whale portion, however, my father is 73 and apparently seniors have priority so we were on the first boat. We rented the go pro and did not regret it. The guys on the boat are happy to take pics for you. The T waterfall was beautiful and Dad thought the fish pedicures were hilarious. We skipped the second waterfall as we thought the 4.5 hour drive back would be too much so opted for 3.5 instead lol. It's a very long ride and a very long day. Still I recommend it.

Overall a good experience but note the below… - I was picked up from my hotel in Cebu at 3 am for the long drive to Oslob. The driver drove rather recklessly and unfortunately I got very carsick as a result (should have taken tablets beforehand…) The driver apologised and said he was trying to get to Oslob as quickly as possible in order to reduce the wait time for the whale sharks which I acknowledged. After enjoying the sunrise and breakfast by the beach, I started off by going to Tumalog Falls where I had a quick dip and experienced the nibbling fish. I then finally got the chance to swim with the whale sharks. We only had half an hour and it was unfortunately overcrowded but given that it’s hard to swim with whale sharks back home (Australia), it was still memorable. Sumilon Sandbar was next and the main appeal of this place was that it was the least crowded of the four activities. After a nice lunch, I finished off the tour by going to Kawasan Falls. In hindsight I probably should have done the canyoneering option in order to fully enjoy this place but given the high cost of this tour (due to doing it solo), I didn’t end up doing it. Overall it was a memorable tour but will admit that apart from the whale sharks, I’ve done similar activities in other countries which were less crowded and therefore more enjoyable.

Do your homework - Recommend doing research on the season and if certain components of the tour will be available. Paid full price for and found out the day off that the one of the hikes was not going to be visited due to dry season. Got reimbursed 100 PHP (50 PHP for each person). Swimming with the whale sharks made save the experience.

My honest review about the tour. - We were thinking a lot whether it deserves to book the tour or not, especially after reading different reviews. Finally made a decision to try. The drive (Adam) picked us up at 3am so we’re on time for whale shark watching. The driver was super nice. When we arrived to Oslob another guide met us. The other guide (Abner) was also super nice, helped to carry our things and took pictures for us. The queue for whale shark was big. I was thinking waiting 3-4 hours is already horrible but we ended up waiting 5.5 hours 🤯 During that time we ate some breakfast, went to Sumilon sandbar (it’s beautiful yeah, but I wouldn’t say too special for this price), just a very small area to take pictures or snorkel. Then we went to see Tumalog falls. The water in February is cold for swimming. After we were hopping we’ll finally swim with whale sharks but nooo, still had to wait quite a long time. Abner tried to do his best so we can get an early number and can go as soon as possible. Decided to have our lunch. After lunch still waited around 40 mins. Our number was 264th, then Abner managed to get 248 and after got us on the boat with the number 217! Thanks to Abner for that. At this time there were not too many whale sharks, only 3-4. The waves were a bit big, so if you’re not a good swimmer like me, you won’t see much, will stick to the boat most of the times. Then it was the time for Kawasan falls. I kinda remembered we had the canyoneering activity but I was wrong, we could only see the falls and swim there. As we didn’t have canyoneering I think the tour is very overpriced!!! Also, mentioned that there are no extra tips but the tour guide at Kawasan falls asked for tips (We don’t mind to give, he deserved, but the tour is already very expensive and it mentions that no tips necessary). The road to Kawasan was 1.5 hours and the road back home 4-4.5 hours. Roads are shaky so if you’re carsick, you’ll feel terrible, like I did. Overall the places are beautiful and it’s worth to see the sharks but this tour is too overpriced! The staff is nice, will take a good care of you. Definitely get a gopro (if you don’t have one rent there, 550 pesos).
