We had a great time - Viking Planet was very cool. We started out playing the VR game that has one protecting his ship through 3 levels. The Vr was pretty cool and very simple to use. It did get a little warm under the mask, though. The gameplay was fun. You start out with a bow and shoot your enemies attacking from shore. But, if an enemy climbs onto the boat, it's a sword battle. It was a lot of fun. The rest of the museum is full of interactive and informative information on the lives and tools/weapons used by the vikings. There is a VR adventure with a 4D experience (the seat moves) of being on a ship adventure. And yes, the technology is somewhat dated, the experience was still fun. I am definitely returning when I come back to Oslo.

Definitely worth a visit - Great welcome and feel as we walked around at our leisure. The interactive stations were very well thought out and the cinema screens were immersive and visually appealing. The VR experience at the end was fantastic! We loved every moment of our visit.

Good time spent !!! - Staff at the entrance are helpful and courteous with our admission . It is not covered in our CPH Pass, thus the entrance fee is Rm140 per person. As we enter, there is a gift shop that carries various Viking souvenirs . It is interesting to browse through and learn more into the Viking History through all the visual, holograms and various exhibits in this museum guided by audio & scripts. We were utterly amazed and thrilled sitting through the VR experience on its Viking Ship, it really offer an immerse feel on getting stabbed by the Viking in virtual reality, At the end of our tour, we had fun posing with their gears to snap our desired Viking picture for memory. It is a a good time spent and we bought some souvenirs !!!!
