Outstanding Museum if you are interested in Exploration - The Fram Museum is outstanding if you have interest in arctic or Antarctic exploration. There is a tremendous amount of information, probably more information than most people would be interested in. I enjoyed that you can actually enter the Fram and walk through the ship. For instance at the Vasa Museum in Stockholm, you can only walk around the outside of the ship.

An atypical museum, to visit - Museum to do to understand expeditions to the poles. The visit of the original boat is impressive, we manage to dive back into the atmosphere DE the time. Photo retrospectives are rich.

Fram museum is a must. Beautiful ship, extensive information strategically placed. Also a must: Polar Flight Simulator in adjoi - Check in was easy. Museum is amazing. There is a tremendous amount of information. The attached museum with the Gjoa ship is good, and the polar flight simulator was very exciting. The only downside was no a/c on the Fram part and it was a hot day

So much to see and experience- 3 hours at least! - Probably the best museum experience ever! To walk about, on deck with audiovisual effects of the seasons in polar regions and below deck with the sounds and smells of the ship was an unforgettable experience. The information panels all round the museum, original video from the exploration era and original artifacts were all fascinating!

- A super fun museum where you can explore the entire ship from top to bottom! It really gives you a great sense of what the expeditions must have been like. The exhibits are engaging, informative, and hands-on, and the kids absolutely loved it. Climbing aboard the ship made it all feel real — like stepping into a piece of history.

Very interesting history - We quickly gained entry and immediately saw the enormous ship. It’s amazing you can go up onto it and inside it. I found it way too warm and claustrophobic but everyone else was great. The displays and history was fascinating.

Experience how the trip to the poles happened - Insightful experience to understand the achievements of Amundsen in his race to reach the North and South Pole. Impressive to see the real ship and how they had to live on it.

Artic Exhibitions - Park of three museums on the Bygdøynes site easily reached via bus number 30 and boat via Aker Brygge/City Hall pier. Touring the inside of the ship and looking at loads of photos on site gives you an idea of the process in their time.

Dark but interesting - It is an interesting museum. Unfortunately a bit dark with hard to read placards. Some light bulbs were out. Can get very crowded due to limited size of walkways.
